Need serious Jow Forums fit

Why are there people on this board that lift half what I lift yet are leaner than me at a higher bodyweight?

How tf do they have 30lbs+ more muscle mass than me when I outlift them and do volume work with more weight that their 1rm???

So demotivating

Can anyone answer this because I am seriously in a crisis. Wtf am I doing wrong.

Better genetics

Also roids

genetics.

Maybe try not being a pajeet, pajeet?

Genetics means I have 30lbs less muscle mass than everyone yet I'm stronger how tf does that even work.In the cbt there are nattys (u can tell they are natty) and they have worse lifts yet at a similar height are leaner than me and 30lbs heavier. Holy shit that's a huge difference.

Is there any blessing in disguise in this? Like ill look bigger than others when i finally reach their weight? Or is it just stone cold shit genetics and luck.

Bumping

Feelsbadman:(

I thought genetics just meant insertions

I didn't know you could have less muscle genetically at the same stage of lifting :( wtf

Shameless self fucking bump

If I don't get any replies ima actually kms I can't even find anything on Google about this topic

I give up

Fit pls

Its cause these people probably follow a bodybuilding routine and just build muscle and not strength yes that's a thing and use proper form

Try following a body building routine and keep doing deadlifts with good form

Haha

You use good form*

Don't compare yourself to others and to be honest a lot of people here are manlets do their small numbers makes a big difference to their tiny bodies

Fitness is 98% lighting. Also double check your form and that you're getting full ROM on your lifts.

is it ok to use a cross legged position when doing the z press?

Peaked vs unpeaked numbers

They are still leaner if I can visibly see their abs and I have 2 pull down my fat 2 even see my top 2

People Literally leaner than me and weigh more than me at the same height yet I out lift them and 5x10 their 1rm bench.

Makes no sense and I'm fuxking pissed off and confused.

My form is fine honestly, I touch chest on bench and retract scapula etc. I fucking atg squat and my ohp is great I nearly press my bodyweight

What does that mean?

Your probably not that strong if you don't know that
...

But if your body is not fatigued(ie peaked) you can push higher numbers without actually being stronger

What are your lifts?

Anyone have the screencap of how to mire a girl in the gym? It involves staring as long as you like, rolling your eyes, and then telling her you have 6 sets left.

Are you doing some meme Jow Forums routine of only squats and deadlifts and bench?

150 ohp x3
270 squat x3
210 bench x3

Idk my 1rms cos I've been cutting for 5 months

No

Tbh your not really that strong at all.... Get bigger and stronger and reavaluate

I was going to do this for a couple months at a 20% deficit since I have to lose some weight for work while also rebuilding my running/cardio ability (used to be able to do 5 miles whenever I want now struggle to do 1).

Is it too much for me to add 2 sets of chins/rows alternating on the lift days?

Hey guys, so I was ready the sticky and it recommends you to take 5000iu/day of vitamin D supplements, but then I look into it a little bit and my country (uk) recommends you to only have 400iu/day whereas America recommends people to have 4000iu/day

So I was just wondering which one is right? And why is there such a difference in the recommended intake between the two countries?

What does being a pajeet have to do with it?

Genetics are everything

Interesting

Does the exercise order in fullbody matter?
Let's say my priority is shoulders and lats. Do I do pull-ups, ohp and side laterals first and then the rest?

genetics are the upper limit, but planning and execution is what matters the most in getting there.

you should always put your priority first

Yessir you got it

thanks

Basically everyone can look great by normie standards. But genetics decide your peak aesthetic, how hard it is to get in shape, how long it takes you, how much damage it does to your body, and your strength at each size, amongst other things.

and yet the genetically blessed will still struggle to get there if they do not have a solid plan and the work ethic to go with it. Focus on what you can modify.

Jow Forums wont answer because im not bitching about an ex
What are some good ideas for a date when you have no hobbies and the girl can't drink?

i dunno lol im a loser

After not lifting for a while due to medical issues i tried squats yesterday, i tried a light weight and it felt fine on my shoulder and back and it was very ez relative to b4 i got sick, but on the way down my legs started feeling horrible and my knees felt like they were creaking slightly. What the fuck is wrong with my legs?

looking to get a hex bar
what's a good brand? I want it to be beefy/with a good weight to it.
and I've heard that some hex bars have this little bar on the front or back (or both) that can be used to easily leverage it up so you can easily add plates on without needing to buy a special leverage bar just for a hex bar

any pointers would be nice. I've looked up rogue and CAP's stuff and they seem alright but do not have that built in leverage bar, but if such a thing does not actually exist then whatever I'll get a normal one

holy shit man you're that same annoying ass guy posting in every thread, fucking lift harder and bulk you're weak. you're not some special snowflake

I was given this exact belt for my birthday.

I have been lifting for two months. Should I keep it or is it useless, I don't see anyone at my gym wearing this.
I honestly don't see myself doing those type of exercises, thinking of returning.

Hello, noobie here.
I've been doing Push/Pull/Legs for about a week and a half now, I just started.
I recently came across the Rippetoe starting strength guide, and I like how its "tried and tested". Should I switch over to that? Or is PPL fine?
Is PPL

I'm going almost 3 weeks to an all inclusive hotel and will eat/drink a lot.
What routine should i follow in a hotel like gym to make the most of it?

Also, i don't plan to take creatine with me. How long would it take to saturate again after being off for +3 weeks?

>only one day per week for squats
You should absolutely switch to SS or 5x5.

I’m actually pretty weak in my workouts. But I look pretty jacked, people at the gym have asked me why I don’t lift heavy. I tell them that it *is* heavy for me. I’m always failing at my last set.

But I also do 9 sets, and rotate between three exercises for a complete set. I could probably lift heavier if I did less stuff, but I just like the feeling of being absolutely exhausted after an hour.

So maybe OP is doing like 3x3 at massive weight or something retarded

ok you convinced me. Yeah the thing with PPL is that you only workout each group once a week, which I felt like was too little. I guess I could make a crazy 4 or 5 day rotation but then it gets hard to schedule.
I bought the book too, thanks user.

Go get fruit and ice cream at a farmers market, put them together at a picnic in the park. If you have a beach even better, cause you can go swimming

okay we don't have a farmers market, we have a ice cream shop with a nice park with a waterfall downtown though

Just start of light and increase the weight every time you can. It takes a few weeks for you muscles, nerves, bones and joints to adapt to exercise

Wait... Macon?

greenville

Does anyone have the picture of the fit dude holding the dog and pointing at the camera?

What's the best thing to do for hand gains? Gf likes them and I'd like my fingers to look/be stronger.

Fattie here who's a beginner at weightlifting and decided to do greyskull lp. how much weight should you add on the bars each workout when you're on a caloric deficit? also how important is it to add weight every workout if you're losing weight compared to just getting yourself to the gym? i was doing ss for a little bit and i had a hard time getting my numbers (mostly deadlift) to go up.
