I unintentionally didn't drink alcohol for a couple of weeks (usually drink once a week at least, fairly large amounts) and now I feel amazing.
I sleep better, I have way more endurance and I recover faster.
However, I don't want to go completely straight edge now, drinking socially with friends is one of my favourite weekend pass times.
How much booze can I feasibly drink and still don't feel a significant hit to my physical well being?

pastimes... not pass times.
Just know your own body and drunkenness tells. If the room starts spinning, you've gone too far.
Also, with this sort of irregular drinking, you tolerance will decrease over time. If you stick to drinking just once every couple weeks, you will have the tolerance of a high school freshman by this time next year.
I drank alot, now when ever I think that I can have a drink, just one beer, then I am mistaken. Had a beer after months of not drinken, my liver hurts and I’m shitting blood.
> I quit booze and everything got way better
> I don't want to go completely straight edge now
You are retarded
Life doesn't consist of only workouts pal.
Well yours maybe lmao
>usually drink once a week at least
>Life doesn't consist of only workouts pal
You are an alcoholic.
one beer will not do that son go see a doctor
Sorry about your social life lol
Almost everyone is an alcoholic by your autistic definition.
Why do you want to be like everyone tho ? Just asking
Every few months when the weather is good I have a beer, and then my liver flares up. I somehow forget about it and then I’m in pain.
why would you straw man? just asking.
I drink like maybe once a week at most and one to two beers basically fucks my shit up. I get incredibly sleepy and will wake up the next day with absolute brain fog and a mild headache despite downing equal amounts of water.
I may just give it up entirely since it's not worth the buzz anymore.
>user was just asking a question
>a strawman argument must be an ARGUMENT
>accusing user of strawmanning when his sentence was inquisitive, not declarative
*almost everyone
>ask loaded question clearly on purpose
>act flustered when called out on it
It really really depends on your individual biology bruh.
Alcohol metabolism is has genetic factors, and some people (especially those with Asian ancestry) are just less able to process it.
My experience as a 175lb euroslav mix male is up to 3-4 drinks with no aftereffect, 4-6 with mild to no effect.
>infer that user meant something due to insecurities
>act flustered when called out on it
why are you being a faggot user?
Obviously depends on each individual. I have a beer or a shot of a spirit every week or two, haven't found it affecting my gains and I only do it for social reasons. If you find you want to drink by yourself, that's too much.
Haha, that's checkmate son. Now that I've left you in ashes, I'll take my leave. Stay mad
Don’t be a little bitch bro, post your pot belly so I can beat off.
lul
>and now I feel amazing.
It's amazing how the body feels better when you stop putting poison in it.
Nobody mentioned anything about working out. This is about a very simple life improvement that you've demonstrated and discovered works, but want to intentionally ignore.
My social life has suffered immensely though.
I live in a country within a country where social interaction = beer.
Told myself i wasnt going to drink last night, decided to have 1 beer, next thing I knew i was at a brothel in tiajauna. Now im at work, my head feels like its going to explode, my eyes are red and i cant eat cause ill throw it up. Hopefully i wont drink today...

just because you've got used to living with abnormal pain doesn't make it normal, make sure you follow up with a doc until you know why this happens
