Yeah this.

good form for the first day at the gym

keep it up

fuck you
fuck you
fuck you
fuck you
fuck you

red snapper me on how to keep a straight back

you could stand to be a lot tighter when you initiate the pull

Pretty shit, you didn't even get tight

Straight to snap city it goes then faggot.

Attached: 1484684004001.png (666x666, 37K)

Now i know these who say they lift 500 here are lifting like this lmao

That is a terrible camera angle.
Can't see your back because of the plates.
Also why is somebody who can diddly 210kg asking for form advice from a bunch of NEET anime nazis?

i mean, he absolutely did lift it

if he was tighter and knew how to hip hinge better it would have been easier, but the strength was there

Go down to 315, drop your hips lower and lift with ye olde legs, not your precious spine my nigga

My spine hurts just from looking at it...

Attached: IMG_1967.jpg (340x320, 14K)

Focussed on keeping that upper back straight while lower back rounds.
Lower back should never round, upper back is a different story

where's your hip hinges

Use less weight or blocks so you don't round your back off the floor.

Or just switch to a trap bar and see if that helps.

Or reduce weight a work on good form.

terrible. keep your lower back straight.

deload and work on form

Attached: ouch.jpg (352x314, 42K)

rounding your back slightly like that isn't bad when you're lifting your max or going for a pr
you'll never hit perfect form when trying to lift weight your body isn't used to

It looks decent, but there is a bit of rounding at your lower back.

Just keep pulling my man, I'm telling you this 100% honest. All the form idiots are talking garbage. Everything besides low back rounding is alright. Don't care about the form, just pull, it's a primal movement.

>asks people to rate his form
>people rate his form as trash
>it's the children who are out of touch, bot me

Autism is prevalent on this board.
Also, have fun while you are in Snap City.

>rounding your back slightly like that isn't bad when you're lifting your max or going for a pr

The famous "sheering pressure on your spine doesn't apply when you're lifting the maximum amount of weight you possibly can" argument

which is ironically the literal opposite of the truth

it’s like how .22 bullets will kill you but .45s are too big to penetrate and bounce off. Everybody knows that

the argument stems from powerlifters, for them the end goal isn't health but getting first place, so they accept form breakdown

telling any recreational lifter that it's ok to round his back at any time is fucking retarded

You're pulling with your back at the start of the movement too much. You should start using your leg strenght and when the bar gets to your knees you pull with your back.

most likely weak quads so your hip shoots up until your hamstrings and lower back do all the work. A deadlift should initiate with legs and transition to posterior chain.

the demand on the erectors is highest at the start, because this is where the torso is the most horizontal and the moment arm between bar and low back is the largest

t. biomechanics and every EMG study done on the deadlift

his issue is he's not getting tight enough and not hinging at the hips properly and loading his hamstrings

that is, not using his legs properly...

and even if he did, he'd still be pulling with his back

a deadlift doesn't "initiate with legs and transition to the posterior chain" or whatever that guy said, the entire chain is involved from the very start to the very finish and spinal erector demand is going to be highest right off the floor

Yeah your probably right but if he prefers to RDL 190+ then id just assume his quads are weak as shit. Im willing to bet that if he starts with the bar outside of the body and rows it in, shifting the weight slightly over midfoot, hes not going to be able to get it off the ground.

Learn how to brace properly

hey everyone! look at this cunt being a cunt and not bringing anything to the conversation.

brohcel, do me and the world a favor please. pretty please you cunt? kys, non ironically

>this
you also hitch a little bit

sink your hips before you pull, narrow your stance take shoes off and stop using straps for anything under 585

Attached: 1513629599083.jpg (602x541, 33K)

I'm no coach, but I'd say that you're pulling with too much with your back because you're not comfortable with being low to the ground.

What is your ATG squat??

If lifting a barbell beyond the midfoot is bad for deadlift, why is it okay for bent over row?

Attached: 1524316447853.jpg (650x650, 213K)

Nah, cunt. Looks okay.

I mean, for a max effort it's bready gud.
Keep it up OP.

Quick physics lesson: If the barbell you’re rowing is heavier than you, you’re going to fall forward unless the bar is over mid-foot.

You are not tight, that's why your lumbar rounds and the bar wobbles back and forth as it leaves the floor.

A single rep with bad form won’t be doing any damage, it can only be the tipping point at worst. Contrary to what people think, lower back rounding doesn’t snap your back instantly. It’s the accumulation of hundreds upon of hundreds bad reps with bad form. Unless his work sets look the same there’s no reason to worry too much. That being said, learning good form is essential and despite the risk being pretty low if you only rarely let your form break down, you should still try to fix it. Basically what everyone said: Brace harder, hip hinge, straight lower back.

Bro you are fucking strong. Way to go.

Even if the form's not spot on, you could throw 3p around like a toy judging from this.

isnt the head placement also fucking trash?

how's my form?

Attached: Fibonacci.webm (202x360, 736K)

what does sink your hips m ean

this
yeah

>deadlifting, ever, for muh ego, while looking like shit
>deadlifting with fucking straps doing bitch w8

Unironically and sincerely fucking kill yourself my man

Attached: nope.gif (149x181, 836K)

Good form. Head down more. Stop looking at yourself in the mirror. Also ditch the pussy straps.

Slight rounding on the initial pull you are not properly engaging your hips in the lift. Try open your hips out as you go to depth if that makes sense.

rounding doesnt matter, what matters is that you keep the weight as close to your body as possible at all times

no idea why these dumb niggers are talkinga bout rounding LMAO

why the FUCK would rounding matter?

do you evne know what you are talkinga bout?

>Deadlifting
>Ever

Enjoy your broken back. Should just stick to dumbbells and machines with light weight.

this tbqh

show us your physique big boy

>having to bend over that much to pull
lmao fucking manlet faggot

Upper rounding is fine yeah as long as your tight. Lower back rounding however means you are not properly engaging your hips and lifting with your fucking spine but yeah I don't know what the fuck I'm talking about... Idiots.

lmao post body, twink.

?????

you get problems in your spine because of the intervertebral discs

the pressure on them comes from shear forces which have almost nothing to do with the rounding of your lower back

when you injure yourself during a deadlift

it's because YOU INCREASE THE distance of the LEVER TO THE WEIGHT i.e. you don't keep the weight as close to your body as possible

f.e. if you keep the weight at 1 cm distance you'll have X newton shear force on your intervertebrals, if you keep the weight at 10 cm you'll have 10 times that

that's what causes deadlift injuries

Okay you keep doing your spine lifts buddy maybe you could write a little formula when you fucking your shit up.

>Implying you will ever lift enough to fuck your shit up.

are you retarded? i just explained to you why its so easy to injure yourself during a deadlift

most people keep the weight close when they lift it up, then round their upper back and extend the lever when they lower it (thus incerasing the force by X times)

it's why you should consider dropping the weight and only lifting it or lifting only as much as you can also put down close to your bdoy

>the pressure on them comes from shear forces which have almost nothing to do with the rounding of your lower back
You would actually have to actively try being this dumb.

>

you can try keeping the weight as close to your body as possible and rounding your lower back

you fucking dumb nigger

Mate keep your little pseudo science I know for a fact you can't even diddly 1pl8. Like I fucking said upper back rounding fine if tight, lower back rounding no no no no no no because you are not properly engaging your hips so your back takes the weight to make up for the lack of flexibility by rounding your fucking lower back.

try some RDL, it's good to get the feeling of hinging at your hip

pseudo science? it's called basic physics you mongrel and i lift 3 plates you dumb nigger

and i never said rounding your back is fine i said its NOT MAINLY WHAT CAUSES INJURY

what causes injury is the fact that its so easy to increase force by X times by just increasing the distance to the weight by a little bit

if you try to keep the weight as close as possible to your body at all times, you will have a hard time "rounding your back" or whatever the fuck you want to call it

3 pennies??

3 penises???

You are literally arguing with me about lower back rounding while saying it is not what causes injuries. If it doesn't cause injuries why are we not all rounding our lower back as much as possible to increase numbers? Remember just hold the weight close to you and you can do whatever you want guys.

Sometimes I like to twist my spine and deadlift on one leg while rounding my back, I'm fine though obviously because the weight is close to me.

you're alright OP but asking for advice on Jow Forums is like asking a gang of niggers to hold your wallet and promise they'll give it to you back

Attached: 1426867789563.jpg (500x500, 56K)

Is only 415 freedom units. Not the 210kg you seem to see. Are you OP?

this form is SHIT

SHIT

chris duffin would fucking yell at you

Lol

Do you at least understand why you’re wrong?

Attached: 6ACF42FB-FEA7-4395-91D5-FBA76DD80D52.gif (341x271, 17K)

do you even understand we are talking about the intervertebral disc? and that the shear force is proportional to the force caused by the weight lifted?

and that the force increases proportionally to the length of the distance to the weigth?

Everything about this is great. Him setting his back after a decent setup only to explode into the worst arch recorded on camera. The meme belt. The fact that he's even wearing a belt with that form. The overextension, followed by the auxiliary back arch. His look of pure accomplishment for pulling under lmao4pl8 for 1 with obscenely dangerous form. Pants.

20 seconds of pure perfection.

> the worst arch recorded on camera

youtube.com/watch?v=h44SIMOMdEI

what the fuck.

mother of GOD that was awful. His setup just made me sad and then I saw the actual lift become somehow worse
