I'm seeing a LOT of weakposting lately and I want to set a few things straight:
1. You do NOT compare yourself to those who do not lift.
>yeah well not everyone can pick up 300 lbs off the floor
Yeah who gives a flying fuck about that? It's just not impressive if you've applied yourself AT ALL at the gym. I'm not saying it's all about numbers here but if you want to quantify progress, tracking your lifts is the best way to do so.
2. Otterposting is fucking ANNOYING and is not productive for the conversation at hand
>Don't lift heavy bro you just need abs
seriously you could not expose yourself as a DYEL with very little experience with women if you think abs are the only attractive trait on a male. You can do whatever you want but keep your stupid fucking advice to your fucking self.
3. If you're weak (OK, you can say "in progress") you DO NOT know what you're talking about. You just don't have the experience and you haven't spent any appreciable time contemplating or learning effective methods.
>High bar is better for your quads, low bar builds a donkey ass
Shut the fuck up about this already. If you're squatting, you're going to be building your quads and hamstrings significantly. If you prefer high bar, I'm not going to shit on that. I personally prefer low bar.
4. Shitting on powerlifters doesn't make you seem attractive
>straps
>sumo
just fucking kill yourself already. Nobody that actually lifts complains about these things. Straps are a nice training tool that save your thumbs for real attempts and sumo is a completely legitimate way to deadlift in PL. Of all the times that I call you faggot DYELs out on posting your body following this, only ONE person has posted body. If you're not willing to put your fucking money where your smarmy little cockhole is, don't post.
Let's start the summer off informatively and productively. This place can be great, and it shouldn't be relegated to /plg/ and /owg/.
