Nah man, do everything you have to do before smoking. Otherwise you will end up being a degenerate loser. And it makes the buzz way better after a hard workout session if you were sober prior.
I used to really enjoy smoking before workouts. Really put me in the zone and appreciated the music and I didn’t pay attention to anyone else. It’s just a focus thing for me, my breathing was a lot better. The biggest thing I miss about smoking is that it helped my appetite. I have a hard time forcing myself to eat healthy stuff and it makes things taste so much better. Just don’t eat shitty food when you get the munchies.
Unfortunately I decided to re-enlist in the army and I was to make a career out of it so I won’t be smoking for the next 16 years.

usually i smoke throughout the day, i'll wakeup and stretch a bit and smoke, make a large breakfast and smoke, smoke a little more before working out then, smoke continually while lifting, then smoke after working out and continue throughout the day.

Every time I eat chicken now I just want to throw up, same with fish. I stopped taking protein because I felt like getting protein from food was better and to be honest I’ve gotten a lot better results.

i make turkey sandwiches, or get stir fry beef strips, ill put some lime juice on it then pan fry with butter and chili flakes,
chicken u could make veggie wraps,
chicken soups, (i dont eat wet foods tho)
fish is versatile too, from tuna sandwiches (which i also panfry) to salmon grilled on a grill or even sushi (which is easy to make) you can cook the fish too if you dont trust your fish market,

People say it's an harmless drug but it's so easy to fall into a mindset of always smoking. "If I enjoy this thing sober, wouldn't it be even better if I'm high" or if it's boring/annoying/stressful to do "why not do it high then". And since it makes everything you do including mediocrity at least mildly enjoyable or comfortable, it removes the desire to make things in your life have a purpose, give them meaning and strive for achievements.

I might just look up different ways to prepare fish and chicken. I definitely like the wrap idea. I made a huge roast beef last week and it was so good but since then it’s been tuna and lemon rosemary chicken.
I might look into Salmon I want to try sushi. Seems challenging though but I’ll try it out.

Fuck yeah, I love carmelized onions with pretty much anything. I’ve never really gotten tired of rice esp the rice with quinoa. Dirty rice as well. What gets me is the texture chicken is dry as fuck and fish is essentially the vegetable of meat. I’m trying to get more protein out of different things. I eat anywhere from 6-8 eggs for breakfast with steel cut oats and for lunch and dinner it’s fuckin chicken and rice. When I snack I’ll have a turkey sandwich or something or chicken salad with some cheese and hard boiled eggs thrown in there, other times I’ll just eat sunflower seeds or a peanut butter foldover sandwich. I’m thinking about making that roast beef again with some baked beans and mashed potatoes. Is that shit really that bad for you?

nothing beats a juicy ass beef roast tho stewing in its juices for hours, and getting them carrots soakin' in that brine o lordy
ive been opening up to pork too, especially with fruit, like a lambchop and some crushed grapes, or raspberries on top
just gotta explore them spices
everything is bad for you at some point, but a roast should be the least of your concern especially if you're trying to up protein,

i find making some eggs sunny side up, then putting them on a bed of rice, and breaking the yolk over the rice makes it all super rich n creamy
also if you wanna just up calories, try making scrambled eggs or omelettes but instead of milk use low-sugar whipped cream, it makes them fluffy af

I’m not trying to up calories as much as take protein powder out of my diet and just eat more meat and protein dense foods. I always go to town on eggs though. Seriously every morning I almost go through a whole box. I’ve actually noticed a lot of strength gains by getting off protein powder because to a certain extent it’s like a meal replacement.

6 years your lungs are a little abused but not like that, this isn't tobacco. If you are worried, go to your gp and get a spirometer test done. It measures your lung capacity. That should give you a good idea of how your lung function is.
Ultimately though, it depends on what you want to do with your life. Are you happy with where you are now and where you are going with the pot? Keep doing it.
Are there things you want to do/be that you aren't because you are high? Maybe its time to consider a change of some sort.
The pot won't destroy you, but it will make time and experiences pass in a different way. Depends on what you want out of life really. I know it wasn't working for me anymore.
