Regardless dude. If you were 5’11 170 lbs on your first week literally the only scenario I can believe is that you got 1 pl8 up with some shitty form. I have decent shoulders and I can only hit it 5 times for one set and towards the end I’m starting to lose form. 170 at 5’11 is essentially a fuckin skeleton. I don’t even think you could do that sitting down.

I made sure I was doing the right form, I used leg drive but never lost footing. It didn't feel uneven going up like it does when I go to high in weight

Unless you're competing in strongman, leg drive immediately disqualifies it from being 'good' OHP form. It's a push press and most people are significantly stronger on those.

People talk about 1/2/3/4 as a kind of standard but the reality is most people will be better and worse at particular lifts depending on form, proportions, prior training and such.

In outlier cases, you get stuff like people pulling 500 when they can't squat 300 decently.

I’m not trying to be a dick anymore I’m pretty sure it was due to him compensating. Even in the pic I don’t think he could hit 1 pl8 5 times but I may be wrong. The guys that I see repping 1pl8 ohp at my gym are typically fuckin jacked. I’m not saying it isn’t possible but I think it’s highly unlikely.

But yeah I feel you on the 1/2/3/4 because my squat is still shit I can only rep 245 right now and I struggle with it but I can pull 335 on DL. I’m pretty sure that’s not normal.

Additionally you're probably fatiguing first in your stabilizers, not actual ant delts, so focus on squeezing glutes and keeping core tight
