silence

If you listen to metal, you are underage.

usually like very aggressive rap, have been using metal/punk to break the monotony recently

Synthwave and NJPW theme songs

I'd like to hit PR's to You Say Run but I'm too lazy to bring my own headphones.

Strictly listening to one type of music is very boring. I usually alternate between metal and fast paced, aggressive rap. When I get bored of one, I go to the other.

can someone post good metal, I need something better to lift to

>metal
>good

Look into viking metal.

bottomless pit

Pantera, Death, Dissection, Fear Factory, and Stratovarius are what I've been listening to lately during my workout, but I'm pretty biased towards metal from the 80s and 90s.

How the fuck...Shoegaze is one of my favourite genres but I can't listen to it at the gym. I listen to 70s, 80s and 90s metal, grunge and rock. The only shoegaze album I have lifted too is pic related.

Movie soundtracks

>viking larp
>not an everyday display of the aesthetic of a steel foundry
I have Sabaton on my phone. Sure. I don't have going when I lift. If I do, it's usually Black Tongue, The Last Ten Seconds of Life, Rings of Saturn, or Infant Annihilator. If none of those, either put it on shuffle and skip whatever isn't vibing with me or I go without and listen to whatever ambient noise is going in the gym.

i still dont get how those plates dont fall off

Jazz and swing when light
Rock and metal when heavy
80s and kpop when horny

This. Unfortunately I go to a public gym but I’ve been getting better and better and tuning out other noises.

The Mortal Kombat theme is scientifically proven to improve lifting by 200% #realfact

I'm starting to think that whoever says that is a NEET who hasn't met any people in years.
Tons of people at my uni listen to metal, it's probably among the most popular genres among guys.

>not lifting to your vivid imagination of your goals

not gonna make it

I listen to classic rock, styx, böc, boston, dunno if i'm a basedboy now

I listen mostly to 90s Radio on Spotify.

I just listen to one of those "motivational workout mixes" on youtube

>not listening to an actually fit band while you lift
It’s like you faggots don’t wanna make it.

Only Yeezus and MBDTF for me though.
>oh and scoopity-whoop poop

Mostly disco music and golden age hip hop.

Turned Off is my go-to for heavy sets

Attached: mus_kerokerobonito2_2545.jpg (1200x866, 121K)

how do you lift to this

I got bored with metal and lately I've been listening to normie rap like Drake, Kendrick, BROCKHAMPTON, Logic, Kanye, ASAP Rocky, J Cole etc. I think I prefer it because it gives me some extra swagger and a confidence boost.

Dont make me post it

youtu.be/Bdl1oQ0W-ls

Blackened thrash

I don't have any special playlist.

Attached: firefox_2018-05-05_13-07-57.png (263x697, 66K)

I agree, added to my playlist. W.A.S.P are great!

I did a workout while listening to Britney Spears's album "...Baby One More Time" the other day. I'm officially hooked and will be downloading more cute 2000s pop albums to lift to.

Exclusively hip hop

Young Thug and 6ix9ine almost exclusively with some other random trap songs sprinkled in here and there

Nah its absolutely not, musically speaking there is pretty much zero traditional/folk/"""viking""" influence, if AMON AMARTH didnt have viking lyrics/artwork they wouldnt be considered viking metal at all
They are certainly not infuential to the genre and most other viking or pagan bands dont sound like and/or inspired by them

nothing, music actually throws me off. perfect silence seems to be the way to go

>the guy that listens to bands where only 3/5 of the members are mewing

Only Sonic the hedgehog soundtracks. Anything else and it’s just not the same

Might be a bit too hardcore for some of y'all:
