Getting this motherfucker to touch was unpleasant.
Nearly killed myself on the fifth one lol.
Do they all ship internationally?
Are they all competition viable?
I can dip 160kg (bw included), but only bench 135kg, both paused. What's going on here?
I don't even hate Isley but I get a real sick kick out of seeing him failing
At least you know you're anatomically capable of getting deeper...
When was the last sighting of the trip known as Supermang?
Impressive. Though about doing any extra core work to counter the lumbar flexion? Think that might help you push it even more.
That's... A really good idea.
I've been lazy.
2014
Yes and yes. Where are you shipping to?
You won't find anything on amazon but bad imitations
If you buy from there, and carry on with PL you'll just end up buying the good stuff.
The only belt I see on titans website costs 250$, can you recommend me something in the 50-70$ range?
Looks shitty. Doesn't even say how thick it is in the description (not enough).
TLDR: No.
is there a video of this?
Source
There aren't quality belts for that price.
Strengthshop does a competition legal one it it's rubbish. Better than nothing though.
I ended up buying four belts in my life.
This is just hilarious
can you recommend me something please? maybe something on amazon
I just want something to be able to brace and protect my back somewhat during deadlifts
Second hand sites
Are you sure? Btw, would highly recommend getting the Longhorns, they're top notch belts and will last you forever.

You're not gonna find anything good on amazon
Reminder:
>at what point can we assume that our genes are responsible for a Wilks of sub-400?
You can blame genetics if you are doing all of the following right:
> you were active in sports as a child, and did not spend a significant part of your teen years sedentary
> you eat at a surplus, and get adequate protein
> you sleep 6 to 9 hours per night
> you are on an intelligent strength based program that favors long-term progression, and has protocol for what to do when you stall
> you understand that you have to build muscle to get stronger
> you have hopped programs no more than twice in the previous training year
> you train consistently enough to not miss more then one or two sessions per 8-12 week training cycle
> you have been training consistently for more than 2 years
> you have a positive outlook on your training, and you are confident in your programming
> you understand that sometimes training is hard, and that's why most people start screwing around and making excuses
> you understand that you are not a special snowflake with magical leverages that make lifting hard on you and only you
Unless you have done all of these things, then you weren't training. You were exercising for fun, or trolling the gym looking for gay sex.

so are any of those good? the other guy just said i wont find anything good for 50-70$
>I just want something to be able to brace and protect my back somewhat during deadlifts
Belts do not protect your back. A strong as fuck core protects your back.
Belts are for lifting more weight.
Guys Im on ss and Im about to buy fat gripz because eric is my pastor.
Is it a good idea to use them during the deadlift warmups? My forearms are skinny aaf, but Im not experiencing grip issues atm (210lbs DL)
what's an ok power snatch for your first day ever of doing them?
170kg

The longhorns are ~$100 and they're very much worth it. You get what you pay for, so if you aren't willing to spend a little extra then the belt quality will suffer.
what makes them help you lift more weights if not the fact bracing is easier?
what are you referring to with longhorns? I guess 100$ isnt that bad if it lasts years
No. Do a backoff set afterwards if you want. Exhausting your grip before going into your heavy is dumb.
Helps to create more intra abdominal pressure as you have something to brace against
There are different types of Titan belts. Omega, Toro, Longhorn, etc. I believe they're on the second page if you're organized by price. Don't go for the tapered or the double prong, but single prong, quick release, and lever are all good. Or if you want a 13 mm thick belt instead of a 10 mm thick one, go for Brahma
Why are you recommending me longhorn?
And why not tapered/double prong? just wondering
I thought the point of powerracks is to bolt them down ? what is isley doing ?
It's the cheapest, quality belt that they have. If you want a 10 mm belt, which will interfere with your mobility less but is less supportive go for Longhorn. If you want a 13 mm belt, which has the possibility of messing with your mobility (but isn't guaranteed) but offers the most support, do Brahma.
>Tapered
Less to brace into, so it won't be as supportive. Not a necessity unless you're doing Oly.
>Double prong
Makes it a bigger pain in the ass to take off and put on
You don't typically do that in home gyms
People don't typically base their training on heavy fully equipped singles either.
It's not necessary unless it is necessary.
If they're equipped they do
>People don't typically base their training on heavy fully equipped singles either.
Watch out folks we have a 4 plate deadlifter giving out advice over here
Best straps for deadlifting? my hands are killing me. While I'm working on my hook grip, I still want to be able to hit some actual lifts
Canada btw
thanks lad
I might be interested in olympic lifting too but not doing it right now. Should I get tapered in that case?
any tips for knee sleeves?
never learned
Show me a world-class lifter failing a rep duiring training with wraps and suspenders on. Hard-mode if he's more than a couple of weeks away from competition.
Depends on how strong you are, obviously
nice ass baby
He's is doubling down with a candy-toe post, that means not only does he have a 4 plate deadlift, but he hasn't hit two plates for the bench press yet.
serious answer: 100kg
>tfw still doing c6w for my lower body
yeah sure lad lmao
Blaine all the time? On depth.
Anyway, I'm not world class. I haven't failed anything this cycle, that ws the last one where I was like "get depth or die trying because I've got a comp soon". Everyone has bad sessions you moron.
My hands hurt
This thread is a reminder of why you don't lift for strength, guy looks like garbage.

What if you are a wristlet?
You cannot be getting all the credit in this thread
>What if you are a wristlet?
Go look at a carpenter or a bricklayers wrists. They weren't born that way.
Your wrists are delicate because you have spent your whole life masturbating to cartoon porn and playing video games.
That's just a normal fail tho
Dear George,
Please screencap your "fugg xdd" face from the end of this webm, thank you for your time.

Im not a special snowflake like you sorry
Mfw bitcoin crashes again
But what about the dudes that do nothing except play wow and eat doritos but still come out of it with 8+ inch wrists
They’ squandering their potential
>impressed two chicks by doing squats, 3pl8 for 8 in front of them
lmao powerlifters
>going over 6
This isn’t bodybuilding general
Did you fuck?
no they left
>tfw they didn't even get to see my do the same with 4pl8
no
Hi Isley, did you hear Rasputin has cancer?
Then why should I even try when I am genetically inferior with 6.7" wrists?
He *is* cancer
no but seriously, he finally got his test levels checked and they were under 200, he has a brain tumor
where did you get the news? his yt? link it up
Am I bad person if my response was to laugh out loud?
He has been saying he's sick for almost a decade IIRC (he used to attention-whore on /v/)
you're a bad person anyway
well this would explain his lack of progress, 3 years to hit 1/2/3/4
>bulling somebody with cancer for being weak
yeah, you are a seriously awful person, not meming or blokey jokey here.
Did he died?
Thanks, pal
how to stop watching porn
Rasputin, Rasputin... oh, right, the other weak saddo queer
Brain cancer would cause chronic fatigue, depression, anxiety, instability.
that would unironically explain a lot about him
What about brain cancer (assuming he's not bullshitting) prevents you from squatting 2x your bw?
Why do you even watch it in first place?
Chemoliftan was strong as fuck
Close the tabs after you're done
sounds more like Jessica to me
how often do you see somebody squatting 2x bodyweight in the gym?
Lmao I haven't thought of this in so long thanks for the laugh user
>natty powerlifting
lol
