Jow Forums approved apps thread

Jow Forums approved apps thread.

I bought the supporter version of FitNotes and I like it. What I need now is a food tracking app. The free ones spam you to join their paid service and they steal all your data. I saw a macro tracker app that wanted permissions to access my contacts. FFS.

What are some no bullshit apps like FitNotes but for food?

MyFitnessPal is really good. Just ignore the ads. Or I assume there’s a pay for premium option?

Pretty sure Fitnotes and MyFitnessPal are the only two apps you need.

Cronometer
I mostly use the website, but they have an app too

this and also download Strong to keep track of lifts and workouts

Symmetric strength
Download the apk for free

Where?

Is there one for Apple yet? I use the website

>approved apps
Steak tartare is nice, sometimes I'll get a like a flatbread.

I prefer FatSecret over myfitnesspal, feels and looks less bloated

Danger/u/

Grindr

I use FatSecret, for what it's worth. It's OK, never had an issue with it.

Strava. Surprised no one mentioned it yet.

I like my Fitbit and the app. I know when I've had enough cardio and can use my Rascal after 1,000 steps.

>"Not gonna make it" yelled from the across the thread

All fitness apps are bullshit.

Gonna ask here, any cardiofags find a HRM/fitness watch a worthwhile investment? Why? Why not?

FitNotes for gym progress.
Endomondo for my outdoor cardio - bike, run, hike (more for fun).
I need something for food. FitnessPal seems good, but free version gives you only calorie data which is kinda meh. Maybe I'll buy it someday.

Seconding

FatSecret is easily the best food tracking app.

Looks cleaner and more intuitive than myfitnesspal

Kek

I use HeavySet

I use JeFit for tracking workouts, but I've never seen it even mentioned on Jow Forums, am I using a meme app or what?
