It's usually 60-70% of your bench. What was abnormal was your previous situation

both were abnormal

70kg of 90kg is 77%
70kg of 145kg is 48%

This is ultimate deadlift setup:

1. Stand hip width 1' away from the bar
2. Make sure you are on midfoot just like squats
3. Bend over and grab the bar - DO NOT MOVE IT
4. Bend at the hips (NOT SHINS TO THE BAR) until your shins touch the bar
5. Make sure you still mantaining midfoot
6. Knees out to the arms
7. Break bar with lats, squeeze chest out
8. Push ground away with your legs, keep breaking bar with lats and squeezing chest out but do not pull with your back
9. Lockout hard

depends what's your backsquat but if your front goes up then your back will most likely go up as well.

After bending over you have to keep on sitting back until your shins touch the bar, then knees out

its most important for t-rex guys beacuse lack of arm length will make your back round as fuck if you do it bad, also if you lack any consistent approach beacuse of short arms and long torso switch to sumo which is easier to setup with that kind of body

Relative arm length only changes back angle. If i do a snatch grip dl my arms are effectively shorter and i can stil do the setup just as fine

Get a light stick. Warm shoulders up.
Warm hamstrings by touching the ground with the stick for reps.
Do snatch grip overhead squats with the stick.
Then finish with snatch balances with the stick.
Then squat 60kg for 5 reps, and then continue warming up to the work sets.

Training and my cut have been going well too. I'm gonna end my cut in around 1.5-2 weeks and my strength hasn't really gone done except maybe 5 lbs on bench and squat. My deadlift is actually feeling even stronger though.

Get a 25lb plate, sit in the goblet squat position for 30-45 seconds, go through different positions with my hips after and have unilaterally raised hips
Continue warming up to working weight

SS is going to cause hypertrophy in n00bs anyway, because literally any volume will cause more hypertrophy than the zero volume they've been experiencing. And, due to the hugely significant amount of neural efficiency SS will build in a scrub, the weight on the bar is able to be increased fast and consistently enough that volume is also increasing significantly. Eventually, the need for more volume to continue to cause adaptation will outstrip the volume added by adding 5 lbs a session to 3x5s. This is when you start doing something else, bigger and stronger than anyone else who's been lifting for almost an entire quarter.
