There are literal markets for pork based food and alcohol.
Most Albanians aren't very religious, they just say they are one or the other, so in that sense, the statistics aren't accurate.
Though there are some practicing Muslims, but from what I've seen, they're slightly outnumbered by the practicing Catholics.
I, myself, am Catholic.
There are also small practicing Orthodox Christian groups as well.
Originally, long ago, the Albanians believed in Paganism.
After some time, they converted to Catholicism, I think whilst under The Roman Empire.
Islam arrived when the Ottoman Empire tried to take over Europe, starting with the Balkans.
That's a rough and simplistic history lesson, but you get the point.
Overall, we aren't very religious, I'd say roughly 20-30% of the Albanian population takes any religion seriously.

Yeah but what worries me is the degree in which we can unite whilst still maintaining our cultures.
Though I detest multiculturalism and Americanization with all my heart, I can understand its use as a tool to make Europe more culturally homogenous, and thus easier to unite.
However I do not think that multiculturalism could ever completely triumph over nationalism in europe. Our shared history is to great for that.

I suppose the idea is to just have native Europeans uniting in the sense of agreeing with the sentiment of preserving our people and culture.
We don't have to literally come together, but more so, have an open discussion on what's happening and come to an agreement to figure out what we as individuals can do in our own countries to stop these insipid plans.
