Me. I don't need a test to prove it, though.
timestamp or btfo
also that's expired
didn't realize IQ can expire, looks like you're past due date by 2 years
I like the mensa because they think of themselves as more advanced and intelligent than the rest while their whole organisation is based on the human instinct of comparing dicks.
Oi mate, you got a liscence for that IQ?
IQ doesn't mean shit, retard.
fucking lmaoaml
what does mensa even do anyways?
gather around and talk about how smart they are?
also 98th percentile essentially means that 140 million people in the world are qualified...
I have slightly above avarage 137 iq and never finished hs and im now a frycook
Its actually comfy
i got a 95th percentile on my science exam for my associates, do I qualify for mensa?
>frycook
Being a frycook was the best time of my life. Enjoy it
At least a quarter of all aspies!
You cut your fingernails too much user
>joining MENSA
High IQ does not count if you haven't got at least 100 healthy followers from your own area in you social media account. Same goes for talent and skills.
It's just refreshing being with a group of certified high IQ people. Doesn't mean I look down on lower IQ people but it is flattering to know you are among the people that would get chosen for a eugenics program if there ever was one.
i shit on mensa fuck you mensa you pricks
i feel like mensa must select for a very specific subset of people even within the "high iq community" since only 0.1% of people who qualify for mensa actually join it
you're probably all pricks
high IQ doesn't mean shit. Actually knowing things is what matters, and average people are more likely to try at knowing things than cunts who think they're smart. Go back to your rick and morty closet, cuck.
>Paying hundreds of dollars for a piece of plastic that says you're smart
The only geniuses are the people who convinced other people to pay them money just so they could boast about their intelligence
THATS NOT HIS CARD, HE GOT THE IMAGE OFF A QUORA WEBSITE......KYS OP
Bedtime Elliott..
>Doesn't mean I look down on lower IQ people but it is flattering to know you are among the people that would get chosen for a eugenics program if there ever was one.
holy shit you are cringey op
bb I am looking for a psychologist / psychiatrist to help me with burnout/stress/anxiety or related issues, any advice? should I ask specifically about medication?
Not possible unless you have severe mental issues.
I'm not "really" high IQ but I'm formally tested 127 and I've never had a job, and only just now going to college this Autumn. I've also been losing my ability to remember things easily as of late, which scares me, but luckily my doctor is very convinced it's my anxiety/depression/dissociation that is causing it, because I had severe food poisoning last year that really fucked up my body and one of the symptoms it gave me was memory loss, along with heart arrhythmia, chills, nausea, and stomach pain that lasted for 4 whole months.
>tfw might be chosen for a less strict eugenics program
>except not because I'm genetically fucked and have a predisposition for things such as diabetes, heart attack, lupus, lichen planus, lichen planopilaris, mental disorders, IBS, and addiction
>I took an iq test when I was in 6th grade that said I was high IQ, nevermind childrens IQ range more than adults and can shift.
See here:
This line intentionally left blank
Wrong, IQ is a great predicted of success....,.... see IQ means you learn faster though, so you actully tend to know things.
In fact just neoruon reaction time,:like a wack a moe type test corralates highly with iq.
Nope. You could have studied more, you could have a apitibte for the subject, the test could be easy, etc, etc. and 95th precentile isnt that high.
depends on where you are and what insurance you have
people have very mixed experiences with meds so if you can get by without them that's much better
I have roughly average IQ and I can't get anywhere
Have you tried cleaning your room.
i feel dumb af but its okay i guess. NEET aswell
>didn't realize IQ can expire
>get brain damage
>you're no longer a genius
There's one reason why people should be retested for that membership. Seems like you'll never make into mensa, sry m8
Peterson's interior decorating is pain bizzare
Mensa have busnisses costs, and like any social club needs to collect dues to stay in business. You would know this if you werent a low iq brainlet
Hey kid, what to buy some meaning?
Plebeian brainlet woundnt understand high style, also it is to scare away the normies, so they dont bother him, like we do on Jow Forums
hey op you're a smart guy obviously so I wanna chat witcha. what do u do in your spare time?
Speaking from a high IQ, or atleast I was in adolescence(172), the knowledge made me less likely to try to learn things, and I took huge risks with brain damage all the time. I had overdosed by the time I was 13. I think above average people who put effort in or are raised well are better off. In my case, I think it was just lucky genetics that were wasted by the area I was in, and how my personality came out made that worse.
same. I was put in all kinds of programs and shit but I started skating and hanging with the 'goth ' kids around 12, they were like 18. said fuck it around 16 and started doing drugs and stupid shit blew all my money did well in school and work but I was just too damn slick for my own good. a couple car accidents and some hefty debt have opened my fucking eyes though
Creating and solving mental puzzles
>13 years old.
Doesnt matter unless you are 20 and had a 172. At 13 the numbers are so fucking scattershottes. Also you likely havent had the stimulation to keep it going.
No mom. Original title and the right signals
I said ONE reason, you moronic ape. Which is a perfectly valid reason of why you'd want to retest people considering IQ can change over time and is not permanent. What you said doesn't negate what I said, so congrats on making yourself look like the idiot that you know you are. Say nothing next time to maintain the doubt at least.
My eyes still aren't opened. I just do whatever I want and sustain the neet life in shitty apartments paid for with money from odd jobs. I never made good grades because of not wanting to spend time on them. I don't think I'm ever going to want a 9 to 5, so I can't really imagine doing anything else, aside from maybe the military. It's enjoyable enough while I have it though
Checking those dubsdubs
Phenotype>IQ
youtu.be
Yeah I don't think it's there at all anymore. I'd like to take a test to see though
How do you plan to do anything if you cant even manage your room?
Btw to clean your room is to posit a value structure, becuase you cant organize your room without deciding what you want to use it for. Which is why cleaning your room is so hard and so important.
And if you manage that, then try cleaning your office, and oh man, you will find some people REALLY dont like that and will try to sabotage you. It is bizarre but important learning process about how some people truely are, but you wont see it in action till you actually try to do it. You might find some people In your home want you to be a failure too.
It is our shitty violent school system that puts us with sub 100 humans. It litterally drives you mad.
If you have more than. A 30 iq difference between people, you will never work well together, becuase you wont be able to understand how each other think, and those includes most or all of your teachers if you were at 176 at age 13. And it includes 100% of the deans and people responsible for your safety, sure as lunch watchers
I know a Mensa guy who's a dumbster truck driver, because easy money and a simple job = time and money to do the things you want to do, and says it's better to make money out of something that you can do with your eyes closed instead of having an intellect pissing competition.
Did he have the phenotype though?
IQ has no bearing on success in life, and quite frankly there is more evidence against IQ being an objective indicator of intelligence then there is for it.
IQ is shilled by organizations and companies that profit off it though; much like the MBTI.
Link to said data that supports anything you just pretended was true?
Why?
Please use that intelligence to advance restorative medicine user!
*I meant regenerative medicine.
Dude he thinks 137 is "slightly above average" he is clearly lying about his score.
he doesnt even understand that is two standard divations above the norm and seriously rare. 99% of iq scores you here are lies, unless that was a childhood score
>he fell for the IQ meme
literally jewish propaganda
I am only slightly memeing. It depends on which test he took, but most are pretty close to the Wechsler (WAIS III) 1997 IQ test classification.
There just are not that many people with scores above 130. That is how standard deviations work. Maybe 2% of a population with a proper sample size. And scores above 150 are super super rare. And the tests arent even very good at testing for it. You should highly doubt anyone that says they have a 157 iq
>high iq
>pays money for a card that says hes smart
lmaoing@yourlife
you can find plenty of books on what makes people successful
it's a set of traits, not just being smart. People like to conflate success with intelligence these days because they feel like intelligence is the most noble trait to "advance" for the human race, but successful people are often also very assertive or even aggressive, and have a high drive to do everything necessary to achieve their goals.
Background also surely plays a part, as I've seen people on r9k saying that they don't do any work and just ace exams to pass in college. When I was in college the exams were only 1/3 of my grade and there were weekly journals and lengthy papers to write every fucking day.
ITT: functionally illiterate geniuses
>two standard divations above the norm and seriously rare
3 of my friends and I had above 135 IQ. I seriously doubts it's that rare.
>implying secret societies don't select their new members from the most intelligent people
You pay for membership so you can go to meetings and dont have to suffer plebs.
Iq is the biggest predictor of success, with conscientious slightly behind.
And btw you have it backwards
>People like to conflate success with intelligence these days because they feel like intelligence is the most noble trait to "advance"
People HATE this becuase there is no known way to increase someones iq, which is very stable over time. So you sort people into occupations based off an inborn trait. And thats that. So people just ignore the data and come up with all these other things, like "social iq" to make the world seem based, but when you contorl for iq, social iq disappears as a predicting factor
Are you self selecting friends based of a college degree department or a hobby? And what test did they take? And was it properly timed?
And this isnt aurgeabe. Only 2% of a population is above 130. That is a cold data point fact, not a feeling.
Of course that incudles ditch diggers and high school dropouts. It is more than 2% on a college campus.
>implying you can't study for IQ tests
Ironic how those who have the most trust in IQ don't even understand how it works, basically everyone itt.
>there is no known way to increase someone's iq, which is very stable over time
Bullshit, I managed to increase my IQ score for a med entrance exam just by studying.
>impying you can study for timed abstract symbol pattern matching
Ok kid.
>IQ score
>med entrance exam
Do you know what a iq test is?
I do, and clearly you don't know much about med entrance exams. Look up UMAT.
You can and I did. What makes you think you can't?
>tfw auto-qualify for mensa based off lsat score
genius without even having to take a test of autistic puzzles is the best genius
Of course you can. You learn better ways to parse through the information, what ways of trying to solve the puzzles are more effective and lead to the solutions faster, nevermind the unconscious development of your brain towards problem solving. Just like your cognitive abilities degrade through disuse, they improve through use.
