Congrats, way to go

:)

Be careful I sent my self to snap city realllll badly trying to diddy 4pl8s, don't overdo it bro, but good luck nonetheless.

Holy shit, me too. Feels great! But I can only bench 1 plate, overhead press half a plate and squat a plate and a half. I’ve been lifting for over a year so I feel like I’m making such slow progress.

Height, weight, and reps? That may or may not be totally acceptable.

slow and steady wins the race.

y-you did it for 5 reps, r-right?

grats.

I naturally assumed this. If not then congratulations postponed until a later date.

Good job brah, I have only like 7kg until I get a 3pl8 squat and about 20 for 4pl8 dead. That will be for one rep tho, next goal after that is 1x5

By 1/2/3/4 you mean 60/100/140/180kg on OHP, BP, squat and deadlift, right?

yes he does

Would it be a good idea to switch from starting strength if I didn't hit them? My progress is pretty damn slow but still I wanna look better. Inb4 sorry for posting in someone's else thread

Question here for a newbie. Are those including the bar or only weights?

For 5 reps right?

One pl8 is 20kg so for eg 1pl8 a side+20kg of the bar gives you 60kg in OHP, therefore yes, the bar counts as it is a thing that you lift.

what a bunch of genetic trash y'all are. Most kids hit sophomore/junior year of high school, and the ones that hit Junior year are the skinny ones that dont have any leverages. You all fucking suck.

>tfw can do 1/2/3/4 for ten reps each and still look like shit

Train for size senpai, strength is a meme

>most post pubescents hit these numbers in two or three years
>youre genetic trash for hitting them after 6-12 months
Brainlet

>lifting for a year
>only 2 pl8 squat
>1.5 pl8 bench
>3 pl8 deadlift

i hit 1pl8 ohp but that ones the easiest...

>i hit 1pl8 ohp but that ones the easiest...
No it's not user. OHP is the only exercise I've stalled on for an extended period of time.

It's to each their own. Keep going, you'll make it.

these are for reps right?
>tfw 0/1/3/5

If you list it in lbs or kilos, include the bar. If you are listing it in pl8s, assume a 20 kilo bar.

>SS claims another victim

Today was also my first day OP it feels great
I'm kinda like you but I've been lifting for a month so I don't know if this is alright

1/2/2/2 here
Can't wait to kick your crippled asses in a nursing home one day

Congrats user, I just need 20 lbs on both my squat and diddly before I get it, too. :)

>1/2/3/4

I see this here all the time. What does it mean?

Includes the bar.
Ie 4 plates is 80kg either side of a 20kg bar

>Hit 1, 3 and 4
>Benching lmao1.5pl8
>Tfw just don't care about chest alot
>Tfw still squat almost every day
>Chest isnt smol so everybody I see in the gym think I hit 2pl8 ez pz
I'm okay with this

1 pl8 ohp
2 pl8 bench
3 pl8 squat
4 pl8 deadlift

Lurk more fella

The greatest achievement in any lifter's life is adding another pl8 onto his bench max, and you just hit the most important one. Good job my friend.

Been lurking for a month and still don't know so I decided to just ask

Same

35lbs/2/2/5 here. How do I get good at squat.

Leg press as well.

atta boy

Eat moar
>t. 155 lb bench

How the fuck do you deadlift 495lbs and yet you're max OHP is 35lbs

I believe that's in pl8, not raw poundage. So a 35 on each side, or 115 lbs.

Just recently started lifting, was so happy to hit even 1pl8 squat. Honestly don't much enjoy lower body lifts, though. Bench and OHP feel alpha as fuck, squat is a pain but at least kinda neat. DL is terrifying.

pretty much no one hits those numbers on SS, especially the bench (and ohp, but 1pl8 ohp is a lot faster to hit in my experience) since the volume and frequency is so low.

fix your form homeslice, and make sure you brace your core.

6"4
103kg
45kg ohp
82.5 bench
95kg squat
140kg
for reps
Been going to gym for 9months, only started a decent routine about 5months ago.
What do?

>55kg ohp
>110kg bench
>140kg squat
>145kg deadlift (as of this morning)
my squat peaked up at 165kg but that was only to parallel so I cut it down to just 3pl8 working on getting lower
>5'11
>83kg body weight

eat more

>he didnt START at 1/2/3/4
brah.. sorry but I dont think youre gonna make it
