I know I am still young but there are mountains of difference between what I look like now and what I looked like at 18, even independently from my lifting.

Studies are done on healthy males. Most of the larger studies exclude anybody who complained to their doctor of having a small dong or anyone who complained or poor sexual function. They also remove any actual micropenises from their results. Bone pressing removes most of the effect of fat and while blood flow from good cardio helps it'd maybe get you .5 inches more at best.
Plenty of studies on university men from different countries and continents all report averages at or below 5.5". The numbers are accurate representations of the actual size of healthy young male demographic.
