How long have you been lifting and what are your lifts like?

1/2/3/4 for 8 reps is what my lifts look like. Before you tell me im weak and should kms, i know, im very aware of how cucked i am in the gym.

Why's you're diddly so high compared to your other lifts?

being a fat fuck for most of my life while doing sports have given me incredibly strong legs.

Around 2 years of calisthenics. I don’t even know why I come here desu. Almost everyone seems convinced that you can’t make any gains the way I train.

On and off for years but I’ve only started to kid seriously since January.

cant say i lift
im essentially rehab lifting from an incredibly sedentary lifestyle once a week

>220 squat
right, incredibly strong legs

Tips on getting bench press above 155lbs with bad shoulders?

dont flare

How's your planche? I've just started advancing from tucked planche to one leg straight planche

SHRUG UP
ROW BACK
DROP THEM BITCHES

in my defense ive been hitting the gym for 4 months and squatting is not something i do seriously i mostly do it for warmup (inb4 retard)

my leg press is 520

6 months calisthenics
3 months lifting
OHP 28kg
Back Squat 55kg
Bench 45kg
Deadlift 60kg (I still struggle with form though so I pretty much have to restart)

>dont ohp

unironically why?

Face pulls, curls, rows, thoracic spine mobility, and developing a good arch.

All numbers small because I started as a 115lb skeleton @ 5'8. Still a skeleton, but a 125lb skeleton now.

Almost 7 years
OHP 60kg 4x8
Frontsquat 140kg x3
Deadlift 220kg x1

Don't really train for strength, keep injuring myself if I go overboard on training volume and intensity. So I just stick around the same weight nowadays. Currently still have a shoulder injury since like 3 months so fml.

Partial RC tear from work, couldn't OHP without some strain that scared me. Get enough front delt work from incline and flat bench so I just don't risk it.

I stick to neutral grip DB press for overhead pressing because it doesn't pinch or wrack anything. Medial delts are weak but ant and post are rocking.

I can hold a tuck planche with no issue but I didn’t really progressed further. I focused more on volume and recently I started working on the front lever. Skills tend to have a very high impact on everything else.

well, did you make any gains? post body to make them shut up..

I'm gonna put the lifts I do when I'm training for strength.
I'm sure can lift way more than that if was going for 1 or 2 reps but these my lifts when I'm doing 5x5 and 2-3 min rest between sets.

deadlift - 405
squat - 315
press - 130 (dumbels, each)
OHP - 185
I also run 10 miles once a week, usually in the higher 70s or low 80s mins, depending on the day.
183 and 5'9

how?

Started lifting last spring? Started off okay on stronglifts, but not great diet. Summer vacation wasted time, fall took a fitness course for requirement, wasted a lot of time and bad diet.
Been back in the gym this whole semester with good dieting and 4days/wk schedule and increasing my lifts every time no problem. They're not high but
>85lb ohp
>150lb bench
>175 squat
>175 diddly
At 5'6" 130lbs.
Trying to add 10lbs to my squat and diddly per workout (thats 20lbs a week for squat) until I stall out because I had to take a break from them when I hurt my neck for like 2 weeks and really ramped it up the last 2 weeks

Good stats for 3x5 reps or nah? Planning a BB cycle next week, thinking PHUL. Any recommendations? Advice?

I have a weird history with lifting. I first ever started strength training by myself in March of 2016. looking back on the calendar I would only go to the gym once maybe twice a week and spend months not going. I had a consistent streak in April of 2017 to about November. gotten more serious with it in 2018 and now my lifts are:
95 OHP
155 bench
265 squat
275 dl
145 rows

>OHP higher than bench.

The fuck, do you have a rotator cuff tear?

Don't know maxes, since I've never tested them.

Don't squat and deadlift because of bad back.

Been lifting for 10 months now. Used to train many years ago back in high school.

Bench press 120kg 5x5
dumbbell shoulder press 38kg 4 x 6
Leg press 250kg x 30

don't know, give a pic

>everyone's dl is higher than their squat
I've been lifting consistently for about 5 months but due to a lot of ignorance I'm new to leg workouts

I can squat 105 lb but i lose form in my deadlift at about 80 lbs. I try and squat below parallel everytime, so why would my hamstrings be so weak?

I'm really scared of going to snap city with DL but my gf says my back is straight. However I just know I'm rounding my upper back a bit on the come up.

How do you guys prevent that?

50 lb dumbbell bench
50 lb OHP barbell

upper back rounding isn't as big a deal, the lower back you gotta watch for. stick your chest up and out

started lifting around june 2015. Lifted for about 6 months or so and then I sprained my ankle and stopped going for a while. Then I started again in late 2017 and have been somewhat consistent since then

current lifts:
>bench 95 kg x 2
>deadlift 160kg x 6
>don't squat due to knee problem but most I've done was 105kg for 5

shitty lifts but I'm actually putting more effort in now and they are going up.

Like 8 months + with a two month break right around the 4 month mark,

90k squat for 5
Bench 50kg for 5
Ohp 30kg for 5
Row like 40kg for 5
Dead’s are same as squats for now as I am just starting them

Pull ups bodyweight 10+
Same with dips

Also I haven't OHP'd in ages but I got 60 kg for 1 rep before pretty easily..

>W-w-will I make it anons?

jeez.. that squat. buy a big sack of rice, gallons of milk, a nutribullet, a bunch of bananas, peanut butter, and some whey (if the whey is too costly swap the money for more milk)

My excuse for my pathetic squat is that I don't have a rack so I have to lift the weight above my head first. I'll definitely need to start going to the gym eventually

That's still impressive, user

Thanks man, I bulked up to 142 or something, but decided to cut down to optimal bf% before continuing.

We're all gonna make it

Just started out again. 23, haven't been to the gym since school, work as a physical labourer so get a lot o exercise from my job, do bodyweight exercises whenever I can. Recently started getting my shit together. Getting a weighted vest soon, doing 100 pushups, 150 situps and lat exercises with a dumbbell I own. other days I do as many pullups/chinups as I can (I'm dogshit at them atm but slowly getting better), squatting, and working on shoulders. Run five miles roughly 4/5 days of the week.
Some people have commented on me having a good physique recently, and it gave me a massive boost in confidence. Thinking about joining a gym again.

I feel better than I have in ages. Brother is into crossfit and thinks I should join up. Are there any advantages over regular gym training?

It’s alright dude, I started like that, I was stuck squatting 40kg for weeks/months until a cheap squat rack came for sale in my area, now months after my glorious purchase I’m hitting 90 kg for reps you will make it bro

I don’t lift I just shitpost here and share my tinder screenshots

Started last August seriously but had lifted on and off before then
