This appeared around 5 days ago. It is very sore and hurts only upon contact. I'm 24 years old and don't smoke but did vape for around an 8 month period on and off until today.

Could just be a generic sore caused by aggravation to the area. Has it been growing? Also that tooth has a very obvious cavity you should get checked out.

I'm no expert, but I'm thinking that's gingivitis. You don't floss much do you?

It has not been growing. I've kept an eye on it everyday. I'm going maybe it was a burn from hot food but I really don't remember

Go to a fucking dentist m8 before your gums become necrotic and your teeth fall out. You might just get a different toothpaste prescribed or something.

I lost my dental care 3 years ago when my father became disabled. With a recent promotion I will be picking up full dental in the next month.

Also I for to mention I have had Chrones disease since I was 12. Its hard to maintain 100% care even while brushing usually 2x per day. Acid reflux is a real bitch hence the cavities you probably see

Ah yeah that would explain the cavities. It could also explain the wound/sore/whatever it is.

I often get amall ulcers or sores in my mouth due to cuts/scrapes/sharp teeth etc., but never had any that look like that. If it were a burn from hot food... The food would have had to have been super fucking hot and it would be over a wider area. You probably wouldn't have been able to swallow it thats for sure, and if you did you'd have to have gone to a&e.

As others have said its best to go to the dentist. Have you tried topical pain killers/soothers like bonjella or something?

Find out what propolis is and apply it directly on whatever cancer is in your mouth or lips.
It is full of alcohol and weird sticky web like thing that is left by it, it tastes kinda good but it is the cure for almost everything mouth related. Except for rotten teeth.
You can also use it if you have a sore throat, or as cough medicine, but you need to dilute it with honey, or larger quantities of it to slowly drink shots of it to douse the infected area of the throat.

Im a dentist. Looks like garden variety pizza burn from hot cheese sticking to the roof of your mouth. As long as it isnt growing you are probably ok, should heal soon. Your maxillary first molar (second from the back) is going to need some work. That frosty appearance is decay hiding under the enamel.
