this week i didnt get it after deadlifting heavier than ever (140kgx5, 160x1 prs among others), been lifting for 2.5 months

What kind of variations have you guys done on the Texas Method?

I did SS years ago and got an ok strength base, not great (I am the weak faggot referenced in the OP) but since then I've basically maintained that level just for general fitness more than any serious gains. I want to get serious now but would like to spread the workout over more days than I did with SS.

Especially with that first volume day, I hear the whole workout with 5x5 can take ~2 hours.
Fuck that, could I try something like:

VOLUME:
Monday: 5x5 squat, bench
Tuesday: 3x5 deads, OHP

INTENSITY (PR's):
Thursday: 1x5 squat, bench
Friday: 1x5 deads, OHP

With some accessories?

IPF is a little different because of the shorter weigh ins.

But yeah, even in the IPF if you're 6' you're likely competing at the very least at as a 231, probably a 265 in most cases. Very few guys that height at 205.

i ran the base template and the 4 day in PPST3 a long time ago

both were shit, but the 4 day was less so, would never recommend the base template to anyone

If the latter you’re just de conditioned
If the former your form sucks
2. If your form sucks fix it obvi
3. If you’re just deconditioned just do it more but lower the weight either way

its pretty intense pain/discomfort on the muscle that pressing on and massaging helps

Carbs are really beneficial for repeated efforts. Low rep, low set stuff barely needs it (except benefitting from the leverages if you're more bloated).

Fuck, oredered blood test online and it's the one that it takes blood from your vein not your finger. Can I still do it on my own? Eat most of your calories, especially carbs, shortly before you train. Dont "waste" so many calories if youre only sitting in front of your pc after

sometimes I feel like I get really little energy out of fast food. I ate a lot of calories in cheap burgers and I felt less energy than from a nice bowl of oatmeal
