Search harder; google has easy, quick recipes for keto.
Nuts, celery and peanut butter, protein smoothies with chia seeds and no sugar added almond milk. Chia seeds in general actually have insane macros. Avocado. Eggs r pretty quick too. I did keto for 3 months and was pretty great and I felt better and more mentally clear than on a normal diet but got a gf and eating out with her ion the diet is just impossible and I’m not trying to lose weight anyway. Gl
>pancakes
>pizza
are you retarded my man?
this is what you do:
>bulletproof coffee with cocoa powder
>bunch of hamburger patties with heavy cream
>couple of eggs
there you have 3000 kcal thats easy to make and quick to eat
you could even slurp down raw eggs and eat raw ground beef (beef tatar)
>He thinks beans are keto
>he thinks keto chili has beans
Want to go into ketosis? Just don't eat
what's it got innitt then?
>inb4 3 pounds of bacon, 6 lbs of cheese, an avacado and a single egg on top
Onion, bell pepper, bacon, beef, cheese
bacon and eggs my dude
Keto chilli actually does sound good desu. I know Texas bros who say real chilli doesn't have beans in the first place. I wonder what it was like originally, with all that beef/pork fat and a little meat and chilies. mfw the original recipe sounds like a legit keto dish.
Strict keto diet doesn't have much of 'real' anything, as far as I've experienced. Most of the stuff is modified or substituted to be low carb.
My chubby roommate did keto because he said that normal diets don't work for him. He ate nothing but bacon, butter, avocados, cononut oil, beef and artichokes dipped in butter. He lost 20 lbs and is now back to chugging Arizona ice teas and eating mcgridles every morning
I've been doing keto for a while, restricting protein to stay in hardmode keto. It doesn't suck but I want more meat bigly. It's not enough that I can't eat burgers, the culinary staple of my people. This is abuse.
I see all these recipes online, even the ones coated with eccentric cheeses and with a single poorly cooked egg on top and they all look so fucking delicious. But I cannot eat them. tfw
lettuce bun burgers are still pretty good, user. Just go easy on the condiments and use one tomato slice
also, how crazy a protein restriction are you on to limit meat that much?
>Bed of raw spinach
>Few sausage patties
The kind you cook not those shit wafers you microwave
>some scrambled eggs
>Throw some Sriracha or Avocado oil based Mayo sauce on top
Shit is good, very keto friendly and can be fatty as you want it to be
My breakfast is always
>two slices of bacon pan fried
>veggies and garlic cooked in bacon grease until fork tender
>6 eggs dropped in with plenty of pepper
>served on top of spinach and mustard greens with a glass of kefir.
And it's not "oh I added a sprinkle of vegetables to add a touch of color." Tomorrow's breakfast veggies will be a baby zucchini, a quarter of an onion, half a red pepper and asparagus.
"Lunch" is always a large 1to7 salad.
>1 salad comprised of
>2 hardboiled eggs
>3 different greens
>4 ounces of meat
>at least 5 other veggies
>ensuring a total of 6 colors
>from 7 different plant families
>tossed with an oil and vinegar dressing.
I usually have 2 hard boiled eggs when I'm cooking dinner for the kids.
Depending on whether or not I go for cheese and other things I average 2400-2800 calories per day.
It's just like 6-7oz per meal. It's mostly ok but it's kind of like eating chinese food, even if I up the fat, I still crave more meat.
Should I start trying to tweak it? One user on another thread said I should start but the results are so good this far.
Holy shit desu this sounds amazing. Do you ever eat anything different though like on the weekends? I have a problem of getting bored eating the same thing over and over so I lose the motivation to cook.
Also, are you sure you're keto? That's a lot of vege
It's better not to substitute and move past the cravings.
I found this advice helpful for beating the cravings youtu.be
I'm fortunate enough to own/run a small farm. I have an established perennial 'food forest' and a managed garden. Most of our food comes from within 50' of our back door. So im eating "the same stuff over and over" but it's always different and changing based on the seasons and whats available.
>are you sure you're in keto
Been eating like this for the better part of a decade and my ketone levels are always between 2.3 and 2.8
You don't have to follow keto so strictly, unless you're a fattie and really want to lose weight. I think the main thing you should get from keto is that fat is in fact the body's preferred source of energy and that animal fat or saturated fat is not unhealthy; and that carbs are useless, offer no essential nutrients, are terrible for digestion, and are associated with most deseases.
Don't be an idiot and eat Walmart meat and shitty bacon everyday. Buy good quality pastured meat, fatty cuts aren't even expensive. The occasional salad isn't a bad idea, avocados and some vegetables can be fine, and a daily seasonal fruit won't kill you. Also don't be a pussy and exclude milk because muh carbs, not all carbs are made the same.
Also, no. If Im preparing my meals thats what I eat. We go out to eat only on special occassions, the kids eat of keto at the grandparents almost every weekend.>Also don't be a pussy and exclude milk because muh carbs, not all carbs are made the same.
>not making your own kefir for massive probiotic and vitamin b gains.
So eating real meat and veggies cooked in butter isn't real? It's more real than all the processed fuckall most fags consider food.
I've come to the realisation that I need to head in this direction. Did you have any knowledge on farming before now or did you have to make it all happen yourself?
If you could spare some advice for someone who knows nothing but would really benefit from starting a farm of their own, that would be great.
You're living the dream senpai
What kind of meat are you putting on your salads? Is it stuff you raised?
This. You have to cycle all the way through and not overwork your insulin. Eating shit every 3-4 hours is just storing shit. Chug butter if you need calories. You gotta give your body time to work.
I forgot to mention probiotics in general, something missing in a lot of standard keto diet (or most diets). I drink raw milk which is probiotic, and also cosume other raw dairy and the ocasional fermented vegetables. I am interested in making my own kefir though, the Amish people I buy my food from sell the kefir grains so I'll probably buy them next time and give it a go.

I grew up on a traditional monoculture farm, left, got a degree in architecture, hated it, met my husbando, we decided to start our own farm.
Very little of my previous knowledge has come into play on my farm. The last 8 years I've ran with zero biological inputs. No vaccines, hormones, or antibiotics. No seed, no feed, no fertilizer, and the only irrigation is my solar powered water pump for my aquaponics.
My vet says my animals are the healthiest and cleanest animals he's seen, including the house cats and dogs the townies bring in.
A good place to start is Joe Salatin. Lots of good material coming out of that farm
>thinking beans belong in chili
fucking poorfags and mexicans... i swear
>what kind of meat
Whatever is left over from dinner. Usually rabbit or chicken, beef and goat the rest of the time.
Kefir is an acquired taste but it's fucking awesome. The kids fight over the leftovers after I've had mine. We go through a gallon to 1.5 a day.
Whatever we don't finish at breakfast and dinner I top up with fresh milk. When the kids decide its getting "too rich" I'll strain out the grains and start a new cycle. And make cheese with the leftovers.
>rabbit
I could never
Tastes and cooks just like chicken.
Added bennefit: even in suburbia with just a small rabbitry in a shed in your back yard you can raise enough meat for yourself for about half the price you pay in store for chicken. The gizzards make great dog food too.
Keto is easy as shit. Like another user said, bulletproof coffee to get past lunch and just fry up random meat in oil and spices and eat a pile of spinach or cauliflower.
Don't fuck your keto up by trying to find a "substitute" bread, rice or pasta. Low-carb bread is full of S O Y, cauliflower rice is sort of okay and I don't mind it. And your options for pasta/noodles are zucchini noodles or konjac which is like rubber. Just embrace keto for what it is. Don't look at insta-thots who make dishes for the sake of photography and not health or taste.
What kind of setup? How much meat can you get from them? I might be interested
breakfast:
eggs/bacon/avocado
lunch:
dinner leftovers
low carb bread (like 2.5g a slice), tuna, avocado
dinner:
chili
chicken with veggies
pork with veggies
steak with veggies
fish with veggies
Avocado with cheese and sesame or olive oil.
The cream cheese pancake doesn't take that much time. You just mix eggs and cream cheese in a blender then throw it on the pan
Exactly
Hows about you just eat like a normal human being and drop the fad diet?
It's easier, you'll feel better, look better and train better.
hardboiled eggs
Butthurt carbfag
There's a saying were I live
>the best vegetable is meat
Enjoy your fucked up thyroid and low test.
Every single keto fag I've seen on youtube is either a skinnyfat faggot or on gear to cope with their thyroid and insulin resistance and lower levels of testosterone.
lol
My lunch and dinner is chicken, green beans, cheese and olive oil. Breakfast is eggs and flaxseed oil. Evening snack is cottage cheese and peanut butter. I have almonds for a between meal snack and I change the amount throughout the cut to vary calories up or down.
Keto is a meme
Sounds doable.
Not real in that you're unlikely to get an authentic version of whatever food you made. Keto 'pizza' isn't real pizza, but a conglomerate of cheese and cauliflower appearing like one.
It's healthy to limit meat consumption. I'd just make sure you're getting the minimum protein intake necessary to avoid muscle wasting.
According to Jow Forums everything is a meme. Bro splits are a meme. 5/3/1 is a meme. PPL is a meme. Low bar squats is a meme. Protein shakes are a meme. Keto is a meme. How about letting people try different things and find what they enjoy most and works for them. I'm losing fat at a good rate on a keto 500 cal deficit just as well as a normal cut, but I love the olive oil and cheese and peanut butter I get to get to eat every day and no carbs is a price I'm very willing to pay for that. I couldn't give a shit what anyone thinks is a meme.
