What world are you living in? My experience in academia was really supportive. I'm a white male with a masters and am gainfully employed in my field who had to take history, language, and sociology classes as part of my general education requirements.

I think the real problem is white men who think they're intellectually gifted go to college, learn the world doesn't work exactly the way they're retarded teenage brain thought it did, and they reject higher learning as a whole because they're too butthurt to accept being wrong.
