good taste, gen 3 is my favorite gen. gen 1 is well and good but when you really lose the nostalgia goggles and look at the names and designs objectively they're fucking retarded. 3 was the peak of blending real life inspirations and fantasy without going overboard. There are definitely cool mons in 4-5 but it's getting more ridiculous as it goes on

I always stuck with the first ones I caught that could do each of the HM attacks. I don't even remember what my lineup was but every Pokemon game I played my first two in the team were the fire type starter and Pigeot

It's funny how many of the Pokemon are manlets.
I never thought about those stats (height/Weight) when I was young.
Machamp is 5'3
Charizard is 5'7
Hell,Nidokin is 4'7

Primeape is 3' tall. He is the worst manlet out there. That is why he is always angry

HM attacks are usually shit, you're supposed to have an HM slave or two that learns all of them and occupies your last spot

They are pocket monster man, what do you expect?

I actually just checked gen 2, because I couldn't remember many Pokemon from it. Tbh, not many of them are not worth remembering. For me gen 2 was something special, because me and my brother got it before anyone else did (Germanfag here, an acquintance from the States brought it when she visited my family).
Obviously our english skills were bad at best at that point and we didn't know what anything meant, but still had great fun

You're right with that blend of rl inspiration and fantasy though. Red/blue was great, but just tedious as fuck..was it even possible to use a bike or sprint in gen 1?

What fourarm exercises ahould I do to look like that

Yeah but Onix is like 22' long.
I mean the show was for kids. I guess when you are around 4'5 yourself those heights are kinda cool. But looking at it now, with Jow Forums indocrinating me on manlets I just laugh when I read those numbers

Crobat
Magnezone
Already beat the 8th gym but still can't decide on the last 2 pokemon. I just caught Heatran so I might use him in my team for now but I really can't choose what water pokemon to get

This thread is boring, pick a trainer type and three/four Pokemon that fit the scheme.

Swimmer

Squirtle
Poliwhirl
Seadra

>Youngster

>Rattata
>Rattata
>Nidoran

Yeah but I was a kid and didn't give a fuck, I would just spam the most powerful attacks with an OP Charizard like 15 levels above my other Pokemon until it died and then mostly spam Fly and Surf until I ran out of points. That strategy worked well enough
