>junk food tax
>narrowing the ice cream aisle in grocery stores so only non-obese people can fit through

Get rid of Medicare, Medicaid, and all regulations on health insurance and healthcare so fat people will actually have to pay for being fat.

go full nazi and put fatties in concentration camps where they are starved until they hit a normal weight.

also classify child obesity as a form of child abuse, with mandatory prison sentences for the parents.

without drastic measures like that, the situation wont get better.

oh no, my competition are becoming fat and weak
this sucks
oh no

> realistically

Fat people can vote too and they make up the vast majority of the population. It is politically impossible to do this.

>t. brainlet with absolutely zero health policy education apart from what his meme news sources tell him to think

Fat tax
Relentless bullying

>t. numale "intellectual"

Realistically? Only through drugs. You can overeat on almost anything. The problem will persist regardless of change to modern diet because it's one of mostly willpower.

There's already a few unsafe drugs that are used for weight loss. Eventually they may find something that is safe is and actually works. I expect the gym industry to start drying up once that happens as most people sign up for weight loss reasons.

So are the women, and all the thin ones will already be taken

>implying this isn't the most realistic possibility

We had a so called hamburger-tax in our country which means unhealthy food is more expensive but we are still pretty obese

>numale soiboi leftist cuck nintendo labo estrogen reeeeeeeeee

You're a living meme boyo; all your opinions and viewpoints are on loan from somebody else.

Its 100% willpower. Every Nation is getting fatter because of the fact that there is better food and access to it and overall better nutrition. I believe in bringing back shame culture which will allow people to have the right to be shamed and think about their decisions and willpower. It's absolutely ridiculous that you cannot tell a fat person that they are fat disgusting without being called a bigot. In Asia Japan China Korea if women are fat everyone down the block up the road and across the country will tell them they are fat and not because they are trying to be mean will because it's a reality that they are fat and they are very Blunt in Asia and not easily offended and there is no SJW culture

>Bully fat people every day
>Higher taxes based on how unhealthy your lifestyle is
>0% tax on lean protein and vegetables
>If country fell for the free child meal meme make it low-carb, high-protein one

Or the easiest one of all:
>30 years of enforced communism

You should be relentlessly bullied for being stupid enough to believe a fat tax would actually do shit beyond increase per capita spending on food and further give more money for the government to piss away.

Most people spend almost every dollar they have. When they run out of money, it's to the government they go for support. You think a few dollars tax matters when there's minimum wage earners that spend $20 on fast food each day?

>Realistically

Jow Forums's version of fat people bullying wouldn't work. It feels good to do it and you get a pass to be righteously vindictive; it's still inefficient for getting fatties to stop fatting. Do you remember the last time someone yelled at and tried to degrade you for a belief or lifestyle choice? Were you more inclined to listen to them, or just prone to dig your heels and entrench yourself even further?

>but shaming is important!

It is; reintegrative shaming. Shaming where you're broadcast disapproval to the person's choices while respecting the individual and encouraging a return to the group. Meaning rehabilitative over punitive. This also mean you don't get a free pass to be a shit person in the name of 'helping', so Jow Forums is never going to go for it. It's much easier and gratifying to bully others and convince yourself it's a good thing.

Apart from a community effort, the only other realistic change would be empowering the state to disincentivize obesity, what with luxury food taxes, trans fats bans, and expanding child abuse to include child obesity. You'd need a nanny state running people's lives.

Tell me all about your opinion on healthcare policy that you developed 100% independently and purely from your own theories and observations, Mr. Intellectual. Maybe next you'll tell us anout your homegrown economic theories too

Sure, just say literally one opinion that isn't a regurgitation of your hugboxes. Prove to me that you're not just a programmed little shill for an ideology. Until then, you don't deserve a reply.

Can you name a single opinion or policy position that isn't held by anyone else? Fucking retard. What are "non-mainstream" opinions, by your standards? The ones endorsed by card-carrying Communists?

>Someone proposes a policy change
>Faggot doesn't try to refute it, instead fails at invalidating it because he disagrees with groups that also share the opinion.

Fuck Drumpf and fuck non-fat men. Conservatives s r so dumb!

redefine the word!

like it or not, you have to go to extreme lengths in order to force a massive change like this.

other common proposals (junk food tax, ban soda, etc) are both ineffective and unjust because they hit normal people too.
no, the proper way to deal with this is to single out the fatties and apply some seriously harsh treatment in order to force them back in line.

Sadly this is probably what's going to happen.

i'd support a "fat tax" if it was applied on an individual level and taxed actual body fat levels

like, develop an obesity scale (probably using BMI, body fat percentage, waist circumference, maybe other measurements too) and then apply a brutal income tax multiplier based on the persons obesity level.

also proportionally cut welfare entitlements for fat people. they're obviously not starving so they can take it.

Cut corn subsidies
Place high fructose corn syrup on the list of scheduled controlled substances

Why are poor people fat?
Because a McBurger costs 1$ when a tomato costs 4$

Eat 4 McBurgers and you have many more calories than a tomato

It is the quality of food eaten with 40$ that matters

>Because a McBurger costs 1$ when a tomato costs 4$
t. poor, fat and retarded

>Why are poor people fat?
for the same reason rich people are fat - because they're dumb and make retaded choices.

and fuck off with the price memes you retard. you get better calories per dollar from staple food at the grocery store than you get from any restaurant out there.

Taxing body fat levels is a logistical nightmare, and is a bit too much of a violation of bodily autonomy to be justifiable

>cut welfare entitlements for fat people

Some kind of welfare program is needed for them; their freedom to abuse it needs to be limited. Instead of giving them money to spend on soda and cheesy-potatoes, have pre-set meal programs from govt. subsidized food centers.

>narrowing the ice cream aisle in grocery stores so only non-obese people can fit through
kek

holy shit I never knew that picture came from an Obamacare ad. Makes the thing 10 times better

people actually believe this

you aren't wrong... when you are poor, the cheap calories are empty, manufactured calories

but user
>a tomato costs 4$
when was the last time you went shopping?

I am Italian, tomatoes here do not cost that much, but I can swear that in a Walmart in Nebraska, during a holiday there, a single "cuor di bue" tomato would cost 4.50$

>when you are poor, the cheap calories are empty, manufactured calories

fucking retarded moron
when you are poor the cheap calories are exactly the same as when you are rich: rice, pasta, potatoes and flour, bought in bulk at any grocery store. add cheap veggies (frozen, or locally grown seasonal stuff if available) and a cheap cut of meat and you got yourself a complete meal that is both healthier and more bang for your buck than any processed stuff you can get.

Get rid of agriculture subsidies and other such governement (((trickery))). All it funds is high fructose corn syrup for (((soda))) and cattle fodder for making big macs. This won't solve completely of course but it will be a huge step forward.
