STRONG knee wraps
I injured myself today actually while deadlifting, felt something rip and/or pop above my left glute. Dropped the weight and some gymbro helped me rerack the weights and I went to the urgent Care. Squatting is my favorite so I guess I'm going to sulk now
Working on not killing myself
Sorry for the blogpost
Just started working on squat in the last few weeks as a newbie to the gym. It's going decently but I'm really feeling limited by my hip abductors right in my groin. Feels weird because I know I got enough power in glutes and quads to put at least 175 pounds but I'm stuck at 65 because it is very tight whenever I come up on the abductors. It seems to be getting better but I'm not sure if this is just a sign of them being weak or if I'm needing to tweak my technique little bit

Multiple, I keep getting set back by either injuring my knees or SI joint. I think I've got it straightened out with warmup / loading work.
>What are you currently working on?
Trying to adjust to a new schedule around work, I have a hellish commute. Want to get my squat to 500lbs.
dyel here:
high
worked up to 215lbs for a couple sets of 5 (came back after taking a few weeks off after finals)
athletic shoes
no equipment

3pl8 squat
is there a real difference in gains doing high vs low bar? i'm not super tall (6'1) but have long legs so squatting to perpendicular is pretty tough for me.
Am I the only fucker that likes squatting? It's the only compound that makes me feel like I actually worked out along with diddlys

I'm trying really hard to gain weight, i'm still 142lbs last time i checked and i've been maintaining my weight but gaining a bit of strength somehow
Can't recall last time i had a good night of sleep, i can go through a week of nice bulking but if i don't sleep well thoughout the week i lose all my gains, thinking of buying some night supplements, such as melatonin

Oh fuck. I forgot that shoes matter for squats and I've been working out with my work shoes which are basically a minimally heeled dress shoe.
I'm a fucking idiot. Tomorrow I'm buying some proper shoes. What should I get?
power perfect 2s
Recovering after surgery bros, had a pretty intense hernia which I continued to work through and tore up my abdomen when I picked up my niece. Used to squat 140kg now I struggle with 100 after 8 months out. Feels bad to have been set back so hard... doubt I will ever highbar ATG again either...
Didn't wanna squat today so I did hack squats instead
