I won't. Tattoos look good if:

>They fit the existing lines of your body
>The color contrasts your body and usual clothes appropriately
>Placement of the tattoo is well fitted
>The design compliments your body

Most people that get tattoos aren't artists and they want something super specific in a really specific spot. That means #1 is almost always off with a tattoo that doesn't look good on that person's body. #2 fails because most people have no perspective of color theory. #3 fails because most people want a tattoo on a completely out of place spot, like their wrist, mid back, or somewhere else that completely clashes and breaks their body's flow. #4 fails because the base design, like OP's pic, is just poor.

There are entire degrees that cover color theory, line shape, line placement, and etc. and these fuckers think they can walk into any parlor without doing research and get something good for a few hundred bucks. If you want a good tattoo, accept you aren't an artist and walk into a well respected parlor with an artist who's artwork you really enjoy. Ask them if you can commission them to make a few tracings of whatever the fuck they think will look the best on you then spend the next few weeks paying them to come up with various designs that you test out in prep form until you AND THEM, most importantly them, the artist, find a design you can both agree on. Expect to spend well over a thousand dollars before the tattooing starts. Don't be surprised when a good artist given a shit design, colors, placement, and canvas delivers shit work.

My whole issue with tattoos is five years from now I won’t like it anymore, almost everything that looks badass now looks lame later on, kind of like how barb wire and tribal looked good when they first hit but now looks old an shit, even the sleeves like zzz got are looking dated as fuck now
If someone invented a temporary tattoo system that just lasted say 3 to 5 years and was easily removed I’d be all over it
