is this a question from your homework?

It was started by a jew

He must be charismatic af to have duped so many people

>original gyms were staffed by qualified coaches, boosting popularity and brand image
>cross training isn't terrible when done correctly
>gives mediocre people the feeling of being an elite athlete
>nonexistent barrier to entry for becoming a Crossfit coach

It's fun

Come at me

It’s a pyramid scheme

Why is crossfit the "second to last" fitness trend in the last century? You make little sense.

>so many brainlets in this thread don't even know what penultimate means

op you're a faggot and this question makes no sense

Simple. It's "fun".
Regular lifting is "boring" and looks unappealing.
But Crossfit you get all kinds of wacky props!
WIGGLE THOSE ROPES
FLIP THOSE TIRES
Are pullups too hard? Cheat! We encourage it! Never feel like you failed!

>be in crossfit
>also faggot
>also elite athlete
>come to gym
>everyone claps when i walk in
>"good job you got it one more walk in, yeaaaahhh lets go"
>gym child care is full because all the moms
>this lady's kid gets hit by a bouncing barbell
>starts screaming
>doesn't phase me, im literally klokov tier crossfitter
>fuck stretching, gonna max out snatch
>load bar with 40kg
>no warmup
>everyone starts clapping
>"yeahh user get it get it wooooo ayoooo, easy!!!!"
>get in position
>initiate the hoist
>*SNAP*
just a normal heavy day

return of /fitlit/ when?

because most people don't have the time/energy to read up how to do a program on their own and crossfit offers classes and has good marketing

not to mention that evidence-based physical culture is intimidating to those not baptized in the iron

Because it's exactly what most people need: high volume lower weight circuit training to melt the fast food off their asses. Plus the community aspect beats just going to the gym.

> Simple. It's "fun".

It isnt boring... its the best time of my day.
> But Crossfit you get all kinds of wacky props!

I did that once and it felt like im a retard for doing this.
> Are pullups too hard? Cheat! We encourage it! Never feel like you failed!
But failute is part of the way, if you have never failed your still at the start.

>i visited my local crossfit gym a few weeks ago trying to see if i could get a few oly lifting coaching sessions.
>was told to turn up (for free) to a few sessions.
>thought fuck it how bad can it be.
>they literally tell everyone what to do that day.
>whole room doing burpees
>then box jumps
>then rope climbs
>then deadlifts
>grown men cheering each other for lifting 2pl8 with the worst form ive ever seen
>coaches/trainers apluading everyones hard work
i decided not stick around and learn to snatch from these utter lunatics

Are there meds for autism?

No worries, I feel the same way. It was just funny how you reacted to it. No hard feelings tho.
