How many years have you been lifting?

3, with one year spent losing all my gains from a ruptured disk, hence why I cant squat. When I could squat though I maxed 315 after about a year and a half of lifting

210 press
355 bench
405x2 squat
415 fiddly
17 chins

>one year spent losing all my gains from a ruptured disk
Any tips to not snapping your back up when squating? I hope it's not to squat in the first place.

Attached: 1528478432122.png (638x359, 247K)

How to not rupture disks?

Don't do low bar

So Rippetoe is wrong? Why would he advocate for it? He's also 5'8 like

My shit snapped from DL not squat, but dont butt wink on squats for the record. And for deads use a hex bar because most people will hurt themselves pulling conventional, it's a hard lift to do properly without supervision if you are a beginner. And general rule to avoid snap city is to just listen to your body, if something feels off or tweaked, dont be a complete fucking retard and try to attempt a pr like me

Yeah, he tells you to just lock in your back extension and get so much hip mobility that you can lowbar AtG but it's a fucking meme, you will buttwink and your lumbar spine will get raped.

/frontsquat/ + /deadlift/ bois wya? Racks are for bitches

Bench : 90 kg
Deadlift 150 kg
Squat 120 kg
189cm/88 kg

Impressive lifts, how come the chins are so weak though?

bw?

BW ~220. Natural semi-skelly at 6'2". Right now I'm an atrophied 200, at my strongest I was about 235-240.

I want 20 pullups/chins but have never gotten to it :(

Actually pretty good considering your body weight

Ty for the stat mires, feels good

Attached: 1525178796121.png (646x700, 145K)

OP here. Damn, I gotta work on my chins. I do like 12 at 230 bw. Keep grinding!

>12 at 230
As of today you're kicking my ass. I could do 12 but my weight's way down. Gotta end this break

I tried to work up to a single arm pullup when I did armwrestling but I was too heavy lol. Some of the smaller guys could do it though.

Hit a new bench PR: 180lbs first time i have ever benched over my bodyweight in my life

Feels fucking good man

Bench 1.5
Squat 2.5
Deadlift 2.5 (sweaty hands and shit grip)
OHP 115lbs
Pull-ups (unweighted) 16

Only started doing barbell bench and OHP a couple weeks ago. I’m a pretty weak dude all around except for my back.

1.5 plates?

i highly doubt it's 1.5bw if her OHP is 115lbs

When people write about 1plate etc. are the plates supposed to be 20kgs?

Yeah it’s pretty bad but my body isn’t used to pressing heavy weight yet, as well as me being weak isn’t he first place

30 6'2" 90kg

Deadlift 140kg
Squat 90kg
Bench 60kg

My arms have always been super weak, never gained any natural mass on them, but working hard now to fix it

Hopefully within 2 months, I've just started my first steroid blast (test and dbol) so I've got big expectations for the near future.

At my last powerlifting meet I got:
Squat 230kg
Bench 140kg
Deadlift 260kg
Managed to place 2nd in my weightclass.

great numbers! bit of a poverty bench tho

Yeah. I realised I wasn't engaging my lats properly and had stalled on bench for over a year but I'm starting to see progress again so will hopefully get +150kg by the end of the year

OHP 70kg
Bench 107.5kg
Squat 135kg
Deadlift 155kg

right on. what weight class are you competing in?

Yes

you have to engage fucking lats for bench?

t. 70kg bench for 2 months stuck

Nope

120kg which makes my numbers less impressive

Yeah. It's pretty important. You can feel the difference as it gives a better more solid base at your shoulders to drive the force through. Most people teach the cue "bend the bar" to engage them but I just forgot aboit it...

6’1” 230 lbs

Squat 4x8 110 lbs
Bench 4x8 90 lbs
Hammer Curl 4x8 25 lbs
Row 4x8 85 lbs

>tfw I'm going to hit a 200kg deadlift before I hit a 100kg bench

Pls no bully squat

stop benching 10 times a week

Attached: 1480456860153.jpg (602x690, 59K)

squat is a fucking bitch, I just can't get the mechanics right

>tfw 6 plate deadlift but only 2.5 plate bench

But I like benching

>Bench 340lbs
>Squat 250lbs
>Deadlift 4pl8

No, what the actual fuck is wrong with your legs

Attached: 1504928316810.png (168x166, 71K)

I move side to side when I try to squat, and I’m scared I’ll dislocate my knee
Anybody know how to fix this or should I just buy a brace and deal with it

stop wasting your time with isolations when you're that weak. Unironically do SS+GOMAD
>230lbs
ok, maybe not GOMAD

lower weight and focus on keeping legs in line. I used to have the same problem and I still have to focus on keeping my torso tight

the trooth

Attached: 1527886131512.jpg (511x509, 36K)

So what do I do then? I refuse to get fatter

Oh, I never tried it, but I aim to get to 300 within three years

do the basic compound lifts (bench, squat, deadlift, Press™, chin ups if you can, maybe some cleans when you get a bit more advanced). There's a lot of beginer routines out there (SS, Greyskull, SL, etc), any will be fine. If you don't want a specific routine just make sure you're doing a squat, a press and a pull (deadlift, row, chin up, etc) every session. Try to get 3 sessions a week.
As for the fat, just figure your TDE and eat 200-300 kcals below that. At 6'1 230lbs you may not be completely obese, so you should get to a decent bf% in a couple of months. Good luck

Squat 495lb
Bench 310lb
Deadlift 565lb

I wanna be stronger

Strongman Day tomorrow so hope for some PRs

OP here, what are you all doing in meme things like grippers and Rolling thunder? I can almost close the 2.5 CoC and did 75 kg in RT

How often have you OHP'd?
And what kind of increases where you on, if you're doing linear progression?
Do you feel it's lacking behind your others, or is that realistic progress for this lift?
