This highly depends on your station. My brother is a firefighter in a downtown station and works 2-3 days on, 4 days off. Throughout the summer he will be awake the entire time for those 2-3 days on calls.

There aren't any. Anything that contributes toward your fitness will pay you terrible or be too dangerous, and anything that pays well will keep you behind a table all day.

Best thing to do is develop a skill people want to learn and then become a teacher in that skill. You can do it part time, not make a fortune, but make enough.

I'll look around, I'm fine with general labour I just don't want anymore food processing jobs. I hate the cold with a passion, fingers are always gold despite having 2 layers of cotton gloves under your rubber ones, working with slimy raw chicken, and everyone is depressed as hell with no desire to try and move up in life.
At least they're always friendly and love to talk.
