the problem of this place is that obscure and often rather insignificant voices get blown out of proportion rather well. People seem to give a fuck more about the outliers than the average much more. Often it is very good (athletic people for example) but more often than not it ends up propelling degenerate, tranny fucking and otherwise scumbag assortments of people into the limelight. Often think that perhaps I should truly seek a different place still for advice. Though places like reddit suffer obviously from other defects.

Have you actually tried to ban those things though? I have been on double the best chan for some time before the recent coup, and it was quite great. I think that there may be a value in having no freedom of speech still. Its a very subtle and fickle line to walk on though but I have found that a couple of very good mods which prune shit threads > users with unlimited freedom of speech
in MANY cases, not always man, but quite often still. I think that there is a niche out there waiting for us to be exploited, who no longer want to be jokers and retards. Calling people niggers is a staple of Jow Forums, but the reason is because it represents the freedom to say anything without fear of it being uniquely tied to you or your online persona. On Jow Forums, saying "nigger" is like saying "bro" or "dumbass". Half the people that use it here now just do it unironically; they don't get the joke. The only way to do it well would be banning people that outright post irrelevant content for the sake of baiting, the problem is baiting is part of Jow Forums. That's also the fun. There is no good way to really ban people or ideas without just being reddit.
Yea, I know this method well. I have witnessed its rise. From the early days of the internet. The problem that every site has is how to motivate its users, and its better quality users (its posters and OC creators) how to make content. When you are just serious...nobody really gives a shit...its what people have noticed.
Then came along the flamboyant namefags and they gathered up a dustcloud of faggotlike attention, because of their obnoxious natures. Which many deemed to faggotlike. So they were bullied out. But then some used a part of that nature to instill reactions. To the tune of "well if I insult this person, or make him mad, surely he will reply to me" and basically every message that was once serious, now had an insult added to it to some group of people, maybe even in the form of pretending to be opposition.
And over time this method has developed itself into a constant fucking faggotry of annoying people so much that they cannot fucking quit anymore. First subtly, then less and less obvious until it became somekind of normal, daily occurrence. A perfect balance and unity of sorts.
but people have not realized what kind of effects this has on the psyche. Real life does not work like this place does. The social dynamics in there do not work this way. There are consequences to it all. Because of me participating in this dynamic I can basically find little interest in people at times, outside, through the normal ways. I basically have to be insulted along the lines that I am familiar with "just to communicate" lol
if I dont get insulted, perplexed or otherwise even disgusted...all communication just drops below the threshold of "care". Its an inflammated and chaotic brain that we have now. Its a miracle that we can even somewhat function in real life.

Its quite a novel world, with weird and novel language and thoughts. But probably also with novel mental problems (the average human is much better attuned to the real world than to this one). I cant even count all the motivators that push me to post. Even negative things that enrage me are just a fucking algorithm of motivation of sorts right now. I am not really sure if this place is not some giant fucking AI, or if we just developed into this unnatural state, as some sort of cult on a mass scale. But I do have side effects, OCD and its related symptoms are very close to what I would describe as to what this place has. Maybe if we defeated all of our enemies on this world, we can lay this abomination of a hellhole finally to rest one day. That said... There's really nothing you can do about a dedicated autist with a grudge and a proxy. I think most of these threads, each with their own theme, is probably the result of a series of obsessed autists whose only purpose in life is to post these threads relentlessly. You can't really ban them.
