It depends on your height, if you are 6 ft, you can cut a little more and then start training. If you are a manlet, you gotta cut to 160.

I do lift, I got all the way up to 165 before I decided to cut again

I did 250 to 180 at 6'1 and I still think I'm a huge fatass. Got some big love handles sticking around. Just keep going brother, that's what I'm doing. Aiming for ~160 while building muscle

I went from 225 to 164lbs (current) and I'm still a flabby mess. One day I hope to see positive progress, but who knows.

Down from 290 to 230. I need to lose another 30 lbs a least but it sucks when you lose 60 lbs and are still a fatty
