I can't tell if this is bait or you're retarded.
I'm retarded and it's not bait. Yes I've read the sticky.
do you fucking think you'll be making all kinds of gains after such a goddamn small amount of time? do you think you have some MAGICAL ability to gain muscle faster than everyone else?
eat a bullet.
>2.5 weeks
get the fuck out of here
Maybe because you mistook losing weight to gaining muscles, I didn’t see any results tell 2 months in
I'm only 145lbs bro, basically auschwitz mode
I'd expect to see SOMETHING
How long must I gymcel to see visible results?
years
fucking hell man should I look into steroids then
By years he means two years min, if you look at it at different angle it’s not that long
how about you stop being a lazy faggot. do you think you have magical muscle abilities? do you think you're special and that everyone else is just wasting their time? do you think you have some secret knowledge that no one else knows?
what sort of results can I expect in 4-5 months if I go to the gym 4-5 days a week
go find out.
Two years are going to pass either way. How you look after that time you are 100% in control of.
eat more
I'm already 24 years old, don't have time to spare
then give up and amount to nothing
fucktard this isn't a week long journey, this is a possible year(s) long journey. i'm turning 23 next month, boo fucking hoo, get in the fucking gym and just treat it as a game of progression
I want instant reward. I literally don't even feel sore anymore or hurt a day after working out. This means its not working.
wow nice bait. get on some fucking meth if you want instant reward and get the fuck off this board you faggot
kek nigga you are so young stop being a bitch
you could literally start this three years from now and you'd be fine
t. boomer
Have you noticed incredible improvements in the first 2 weeks from when you started, and now they are slowing down? If so, your brain has learned how to efficiently use your muscles, so your strength has increased. At that point, simply continuing to lift would show slower gains of actual muscle mass. It's gradual, and if you can't accept that then don't workout.
24 is fucking old man, I'm as close to 30 as I am to my highschool graduation
ok so bare with me here
First 2 days I worked out, my arms got so hurt I couldn't bend them past 90 degrees/couldn't straight them is that normal? Now if I straighten my arms completely I feel strain in the bicep and whatever the muscle surrounding the elbows are
bro that's fucking doms, completely normal. just work through it and stop being a bitch.
when i was a hyper skeleton, i didnt see major results until several months. If your coming from higher body fat it will take longer
That's called DOMS, it happens when you have never worked your muscles intensely, or haven't in a while(I.e. Took a long break from gym). When you stop feeling that pain after going consistently to the gym, and also notice you can lift more, then you know you are doing well, and should continue doing what you're doing. If you notice a big stall that lasts a while, you should try lifting heavier weights. If that doesn't work, eat more, sleep more, etc. to make sure your muscles are recovering.
ok so how do I know my muscles are getting enough protein to grow? I'm eating about 70 grams of protein a day if I could it all up
You can expect to put on about 2lb muscle a month on average if you take it seriously. That’s 24lb a year, or 48 in two years. If you’re 145 lb now you could potentially be 193 and fairly lean in two years. That’s literally beast mode/jacked to 95% of the population. Here on Jow Forums they’re a little more picky but still. Just use a tdee and plan your meals at a 500 or maybe even 600 cal surplus. You can just google bulking macros to help plan. It’s not rocket science.
jesus, twenty four? they got a good weight room at the retirement home?
ya I'm younger than the other boomers here, they don't have as much energy anymore so I get to have the gym to myself sometimes (under supervision of our alzheimers nurse)
Muscles will take time, don't worry to much about it this early on. 70 grams is fine. You will notice your strength go up a lot more, then you start noticing your muscles swell up way more than they did a few weeks ago while working out. Also don't expect an Arnold physique after gaining the muscles, because once you have the muscle you can lose fat and get that nice look your probably going after.
Starting out January this year I was 125lbs I’m now at 160 which still isn’t good but I’m 12% body fat and doing pretty ducking well my dude this isn’t a fast process but just set a goal I’m trying to look like Christian bale in American psycho and it’s gonna take me another year or two probably but when I get there I’m gonna be so proud of myself it won’t matter stick with it buddy
desu with that kind of attitude you're setting yourself up for a miserable life user. outside of the memes here 30 isn't even that old, just seems like it is to someone who hasn't lived to be 40, 50, etc.
also what the fuck @ bitching about your arms hurting after lifting
