i also dropped shampoo about a year ago and my hair is great for the first time in my life, it has volume without being a fluffy mess, better texture. we literally evolved without shampoo, and animals have amazing furs without even knowing what cleaning means

you are too used to it. dont touch your hair/scalp too much either, just like touching your face causes acne it will fuck it up

Use an organic non sulfate shampoo. I didnt use shampoo for a month and my head got itchy as hell and scabby, it was incredibly dry.

My hair was always incredibly dry and frizzy because I was using "normal" amounts of shampoo. Eventually I realized that I just need to use as little shampoo as possible in order to strike a good balance,and from them on my hair went from being shit-tier to being aesthetic.

However, I can't go completely without using shampoo/conditioner. If I do that my scalp will start to itch like a motherfucker from all the buildup. So I a small amount of shampoo every other day and use conditioner every day. Pic-related is with damp hair and it never looks greasy so long as I follow the aforementioned method.

shampoo, tooth paste and skincare industry keep you hooked like that. make it so that their products have the desired effect but then as you stop using them you will experience side effects that get you back into business.

for both hair, skin and mouth all you need is water and basic shit you can find at home. and taking care of your general health will reflect on these too

take it even further and stop using body wash too. stopped using shampoo/conditioner/body wash a while ago and my hair/skin has never been better.

dry brush body before showering and use soap made with natural oils.

Stopped regularly using shampoo a few months ago and never going back. Still sparingly use a sulfate-free one occasionally, but only when my hair gets visibly too greasy.

It was definitely the best thing I've done for my hair. I used to shampoo and condition every single day and all I got out of that was frizzy ass hair and lots of money wasted.

i wash my teeth with water and if something's sticking to my teeth i scrape it off. cavities only happen when you let sugars sticking on your teeth
your mouth is suposed to have harmless bacteria and if you kill it off then the nasty shit can grow easier
another example that is known is how women shouldnt use soap inside their vaginas because they can get yeast infections (from removing the good bacteria)

excellent reading comprehension. I just said I shower every day, but only use shampoo every-other day because my hair naturally gets very dry easily. The picture is also just out of the shower. It's damp, not greasy.
