Running, push ups, and sit ups on paper are all that matter and even if you're out of shape you can still pass it.
If you wanna make basic a breeze, get really good at running. There is honestly no point in trying to bulk, I and everyone else who had any size to them at all lost a shit load of weight in BMT.

And running, you are going to want to train endurance as an end goal but for now focus on making a 10 minute 2.4km (1.5 mile) as that is a good cardio base to build off of. Do not worry about being as fit as the guys currently in uniform, the basic training will take you to that level. It is your job to reach the entry standard but you should do your best to push past that.

Pull ups and press ups. Don't worry about weight training the key is to maximise how much work you can do rather than how much you can lift. Run every other day, 800m-5miles, vary it up and adjust speed accordingly (Sprint 800m, jog the 5 etc) On the days you don't, hiit. You want to increase the quantity of work you can do and decrease recovery times. I went into the RM thinking I was hot shit because I was 19 and could deadlift 200kg. I was in pain for most of the training and almost transferred off the officer course.

Run you ass off. Cardio is the most important in the military if only because it's noticeable as fuck if you can't keep up on a run. Throw in some pull-ups for upper body/general fitness gainz and of course train to the APFT (pushups/situps/2mile run)
Look up the arm strong pullup program and Hal Higdon's 10k plan. Maybe find one of those '100 pushup' plans so you can max that out. Bulking right now is dumb.
