I hate this coping shit people do where they spam pictures of Statham and Willis as a reason why they'll totally look better bald. The truth is that guys like that would look great with or without hair, and in almost all circumstances, having a full head of hair is better than being bald, all other things being equal.

It's the equivalent of when people post pictures of Humphrey Bogart in a fedora as justification for wearing one themselves. You don't look like Bogart and you will never pull it off the same way Bogart does. Same here with being bald. Because let's be honest, the majority of people who go bald will end up looking more like George Costanza than they do Jason Statham.

Honestly, I wish I were one of those people who could pull off the bald look with ease. I work with this dude, he's like 5'9", maybe 140 lbs, and he pulls off the bald look with glasses and clean shaven better than anyone I have ever seen.

Balding isn't low-maintenance. The shorter your hair, the more you have to maintain it because the growth makes up a more significant amount of the total. Long hair is the lowest maintenance and you only need to worry about getting it trimmed every few months. It's just like how a beard takes less maintenance than shaving every day.

This is exactly why I grew out my hair and beard. Turns out I look good as a swole Jesus, but I only did it out of lazyness.

Same here. Shaved during undergrad but grew a beard in grad school because I was lazy and got tired of dealing with shaving all the time. So for the first time I said "fuck it" and let it get past the couple-days-of-stubble phase, and I ended up liking it .

Always had long hair since highschool though. But only needing to get it cut every 4-6 months is a really nice bonus.
