Helped a buddy move a couple of weeks ago.
>tfw you remember the first time you carried a small table that couldn't have weighed more than a pl8 and your back was dying afterwards
never again
Have a 200-210 lb stone pot that I had to move last month, just bent down and did it like an atlas stone with a rope around under the lip. It's a giant planter made for palm trees and the like, wife and I are going to use it for squash instead of some kind of tree so it won't reach up to the roof so it can't be an ant highway like it was.

Myself.
I'm a blacksmith as a hobby, and my time in the navy had me move plenty. Also I single handedly moved a washing machine out of the garage and replaced it for my mom.
Surprising that washing machines are WAY lighter than they look.
Moved a freezer with some chicanos from work. There were 4 of us though so that doesn't really count.
my dad fixes cars and sometimes they fall on top of him and either me or my brother have to lift them
>washing machines are WAY lighter than they look
True dat.
When I was a DYEL teen still doing SL I managed to lift one above my head with a bit of effort.
Felt like god, but now I realize they're just light
>tfw grugette is making me move the stone pot we cook travelers in
Last week, i work as a blacksmith and had to install a fence in some house
Remember to lift from the knees son
Yesterday, an oven I bought , not sure how much it weights tho
hahaha yeah it does feel like that around the house sometimes. I get co-opted for lifting pretty much every heavy thing that her or my family asks to move. It's fine though, it may be more work but if I can do it safely then it's the better alternative.

I used to work in a warehouse. Just last week, I had to move a cast-iron bathtub.
I work metal fabrication/welding. You tell me.
Also moving my alzheimer's grandma before she died was not fun.
Strength is never a weakness
>In America, furniture, washing machines and grandmas weigh over 200lbs
ITT liars
Any books to look for or tips on blacksmithing? Id like a mans hobby.
Everyday lately, I am building a dry stone terrace in my garden.
(pic is from two months ago, I don't have a more recent one on hand and its night here)
last week at my job
Good work user! Looks very cool. It’s fun to do things like that where you can feel yourself walking in the footsteps of primitive people working and building with their hands
swish
>impying american grandmas weight less than 300lb
Fucking boomers and their lawns.

Moving my ammo bin
During the winter time I helped someone move and we needed to get a piano somewhere.
