>"rest days make you miss out on gains"
Thanks Booger. I'm actually gonna go to the gym and do an arm/ab/cardio. Nothing crazy.
I have a headache
stop shilling this gaylord you literal faggot
Because I'm natty
Cause I'm not juicing, Eric.
What if I told you that rest days give you the gains in the first place
wait... what, I...
>missing out on GAINS.
doesn't this guy have a spic wife?
He looks like my gym crush, unfortunately my gym crush has gauges in his ears. Fucking hate them.
>don't do 10 exercises in a workout
what if they're targeting 10 different muscle groups? hmm?
do compounds instead
what if mobility limits me from doing squats and deadlifts? pretty sure i have in impinged hip so i can't do them without damaging my hip cartilage
obviously his advice wouldn't suit somebody with damaged hips
just keep doing what you're doing i guess
Eric's philosophy sounds appealing until you realize all his "PRs" aren't real PRs at all, its just him adapting to the new movement, followed later by regression and an extended lay off due to movement pattern fatigue.
Why would any one do this over a proper program where you can progress multiple lifts and actually get proper recovery?
That doesn't work if you don't take roids
I got stoned and did some HIIT sprints instead. Was fun af. Good advice desu
Rest days are a meme for the general population, and downright stupid for NEETs. You don't have to hit the gym and break a PR on your "rest" day, but you you better not be sitting at home all day. In fact, if you're a NEET you should be hitting the gym on your "rest days" and just messing around with lighter weight and cardio, have some fun and get your membership's worth.
What if I'm a NEET with a home gym? What should my daily life look like for maximum gains?
Keep following your program, obviously, but on top of that:
*Go for long, leisurely walks every day. Gym time aside, you probably aren't getting that basic activity/sunlight people get when they leave the house. If you have a treadmill, use it while you watch TV or something, and avoid sitting down too long. This is easier if you have a park or something to go to during the day. Alternatively, go on chill bike rides around your neighborhood/city for a while, if it's not an issue.
*Don't avoid activity on your rest days. This applies even if you're not a NEET. Rest days just mean you're not gonna progress that day, doesn't' mean you can't move some weight around if you get the urge to.
*Work on escaping NEETdom. Apply online to whatever bullshit is hiring close by. Doesn't need to be your passion, just something you're willing to do for money. It can even be part-time if you want, doesn't matter. If you have a job and still don't know how to pass the time, volunteer for some non-profit or charity.
Thanks, mate. I'll do my best.
t. johnny 1 plate
*knee explodes*
You got it, man. Being a NEET is wild, but think of it as an opportunity and you'll be okay. The important thing is to be satisfied with how you're spending your time, and not falling into disuse, if that makes sense.
im too tired.
plus im just lookin to get toned.
Ironically, the type of people benching 1pl8 are the same ones doing Eric's system
i am taking rest days because i have tendinitis from not taking enough rest days
Yeah, and the size gains are illusions and the fact that he hits new all time PRs when he returns to a previous movement as well
oof
*gets injured*
brilliant
if i dont take days off i get injured
bad genes
Wrong.
post body
post iq score
no body then?
Hes not natty, just fucking lol at you naive retards who hang off his every word like its gospel
he's tested randomly literally every month
Like i said, naive retards
>no argument
i need more time, my unscuplted body isn't evidence that you need "bad genes" to get injured from overtraining
there's no evidence to support working muscle groups every day, and it will likely lead to overtraining, if you're doing a PPL program then lifting 6 days should be fine
okay so no body then
i guess that's settled
>Someone doesn't have rest days at all and says that rest days are not needed whatsoever
how to spot someone on steroids 101
t. half asses his workouts
>random testing at regular intervals
what did he mean by this?
Are you illiterate? You were saying that he's just spinning his wheels and I said he clearly he isn't. Now you're just backpedaling and making it a question of whether he's natty or not. I don't care and it's not relevant because we're specifically talking about his progress, which we have clear proof of.
Who told you he gets tested? Him?
Wheres his test results? Has he ever shown them?
Dude I''ve seen these bullshitter "natty" fitness YouTubers come and go since 2008. Eric's no different, just a salesman looking for a quick buck by filling a niche
ok so no evidence to support the claim the dude in that video is making
i guess i wont be following his stupid advice
But I don't take rest days anymore, Eric.
Not that guy
>Wheres his test results? Has he ever shown them?
yes
Dumbest thing I've ever heard. If you're running a split you literally don't need rest days because different days you target different shit.
PPL for instance: On a push day you push. On a pull day you pull. On a leg day you do legs. On all of those days, you're working different muscles. So you're lifting WHILE resting the muscles you used the previous day. In other words: You don't need a rest day because you're already resting. You can literally always work something out, and anyone who tells you otherwise is lazy. Plain and simple.
Obviously if you feel like something is fucked up don't lift, you're gonna hurt yourself then you'll be out of action for a while. But if you're just a little sore or whatever, you have no excuse.
Satan trumps 444
Those were both me.
the guy is contracted under wwe. since he is in developmental, he supposedly gets tested once a month. however if anyone believes that means anything they're a fucking retard. most of those guys are on something
based retard
That user is taking some good ass gear
tf? how is buges going to wrestle, he's tiny in wwe terms
even if you are doing splits you have to take rest days
I'll stop taking rest days when you stop taking sterons
the good news is he is over 6 foot. If he was a fucking manlet he would probably be on 205 live
Anybody else think these threads are started by the youtubers themselves to get attention
>PRs aren't real PRs
>PRs are only real if you can constantly replicate them
nigga what that fuck kinda crack you smoking.
Too be fair, he's saying brand new lifters don't need rest days, not all lifters.
He's still wrong though.
Fake natty with fake lifts. Love how he pulls 880 in his basement but couldn't budge 700 and only grinded out 625 when he filmed with another YouTuber.
Dude isn't that big for a serious lifter on roids and not that strong and he gives shit advice.
how the fuck do you show up in every bugez thread it's honestly disturbing. I'd rattle off the numerous reasons why you're full of shit but i'm pretty sure we've both done this before.
>Only one person has noticed how he lifts far less anytime he's in public
>Only one person thinks someone who is 235 at single digits bodyfat at 6'2 is on roids.
i can fucking tell it's you faggot you say the exact same shit the exact same way everytime. as i'm sure you've heard dozens of times already a. juji and eric made 5 20 minute long videos doing all kinds of wild shit so of course he wouldn't be able to do his absolute max b. his training style means that he needs a few days to get back to his PR level on each lift c. he has videos of him lifting pretty close to his maxes in commercial gyms d. btb deadlifts and jeffersons are way easier to perform so of course they'd be higher than his conventional PR (not that he's even a powerlifter, he's a wrestler so who cares) and e. if you think that bugez has single digit bodyfat then you have a single digit IQ.
I tried no rest days for the first time. Made it about 2 and a half weeks. Got too tired. Dick stopped working momentarily. Sometimes you gotta rest my dudes.
COPE

because he's not making a PR you brainlet
he already had the given lift in him, he just lifts less prior beforehand like a peaking program
>PPL for instance: On a push day you push. On a pull day you pull. On a leg day you do legs. On all of those days, you're working different muscles. So you're lifting WHILE resting the muscles you used the previous day. In other words: You don't need a rest day because you're already resting.
that is such a childlike way of thinking lmao.
all your muscles are connected to the same body you moron. when you're blasting your "pull" the day after your "push" your still expending energy taking it away from your recovery from your "push" workout, not to mention general joint recovery
good luck squatting heavy the day after doing deadlifts and rows on your "pull day"
PPL is a fucking meme for weakfags
apparently nobody here knows about cns dig.
really good idea to train compound lifts every day as long as you make sure to keep it in the holy order of push pull legs ;^)
Sorry sweaty but you’re supposed to use ‘cope’ to describe when someone criticises someone who’s better than them, in order to ‘cope’ with their own inadequacies. My advice is to lurk a bit more before you post.
I get it that what he said in this video may be valuable to some people, however he pretty much regards hypertrophy training as shit and right now it is what he is doing. Lots of exercises, lots of reps, so..
>Eric's system
u a brainlet or wot?
10 minute video to literally tell people to do ss + gomad
>he already had the given lift in him
Why are you so fucking incoherent. You either do a PR of you don’t. If you move more weight than you have before it’s new PR. It’s that fucking simple. I really just can’t comprehend your point. Of course he ‘had it in him’ otherwise he wouldn’t make the lift and it wouldn’t be a new PR. I promise you that every PR ever made the lifter ‘had it in them’.
He does say gomad but he’s clearly not advocating SS. Last I checked SS has more than one exercise
I have to take rest days atleast once a week otherwise my central nervous system gets burnt out. I still go on bike rides or long walks on rest days though so that i don't end up being completely sedentary on those days.
Sure but since he's in developmental I wouldn't doubt they have a kind of strict testing, on the main roster it's a joke ofc since 99% of them roid and they would never expose a guy like John Cena if he got caught in one of these.
too soon
he isnt selling anything
What the heck is "movement pattern fatigue"?
When you do a movement pattern a lot and get fatigue
B-but isn't that the point of weightlifting?
Yeah it is of course but if you take it too far you can’t keep on progressing hence “fatigue”.
Humans, usually the elite and those who run the world, often live sedentary lifestyles since they're rich and don't have to labor. Over working is for the slave class. All work ages you. There's nothing wrong with taking off days so long as you're eating healthy and sleeping right. I personally take the whole weekend off to have fun. Clarity of mind is also healthy and refreshing.
because he's been lifting for 20 years and he will never get "real PRs" again at this stage of his career
mixing it up so he can get pseudo-PRs that are really just technical/neurological gains on new/haven't-done-for-a-while movements are the only way he can stay interested in lifting now
he's a spic himself lmfao
not taking days off got me slightly injured, got sternum pains from weighted dips every day, so it differs from person to person
Because you're low test genetic trash.
So does fucking Braun Strowman. Jesus Christ, how naive are you morons? There are compounds that leave your system withing 8 hours for fuck's sake.
He's selling his persona. That's what got him into the WWE after all.
This doesn't make any sense. A PR is a PR, thats what it is lmao. Of course you adapt to a movement you are PR'ing in, thats obvious, what the fuck is your point
>psuedo PR's
>all time PR'd on bench press and OHP
