just crazy enough to work
The absolute state of manlet delusion
why don't you go try it out then?
How high are they?
what the fuck is this nonsense
This seems fun
absolutely sick of you fucking millennial fucks trying to be a big man even when you know me and most 30+ yr olds in the gym could outlift you and definitely kick your skinny twink asses. I see your type everyday at the gym; cowardly shuffling around inside the squat rack making sure not to make eye contact. You are absolutely pathetic. If any of you fucks who do this retarded meme go to my gym ill know and ill beat your as.
>he doesn't respect the way of the wood
a foolish mistake
I love these. The delusion they live in because from their smug expressions you can always tell they actually think it works. People pay for it and are fucking impressed by this shit
>That boomer that teaches karate to kids on weekends.
This has to be for a stunt coordinator class or something, right?
Whatever you say, Gramps
that's a long arm
It's one think to hit a guy with a 2x4 but this ?
I did judo when I was younger. Wasn't really flashy or anything. My brother insisted because i was small and got picked on. Nothing changed though, I still got picked on. I just learned how to minimize damage from a fall. Also got skinny from the training. Still too much of a pussy to fight someone.
Look how fucking pleased with himself he looks.
should have done a striking art
Yeah I did judo too but for self-defense it just lacks striking. Takedowns are great and niwaza has some great submissions too but any boxer who anticipates a takedown will have an easy time with you. Especially when you´re small something with striking is better imo, pls don´t fall for that "with perfect technique even a 45 kg woman could take down a 100 kg bear of a man" it might be true in an absolute ideal situation and when you´re a black belt anyways but especially for beginners strength is king in grappling imo.
I'm thinking about joining this place:
To do some mixed martial arts.. what does user think? Am I wasting my time?
Holy shit, his arm looks, longer than his legs.
The absolute state,of the Hobbits.
Looks pretty corporate and hungry.
Big mistake to rent a place and try to get all the money out of one area. Better idea is to rent a hall in each area for one or two nights a week and drive the gear around. 95% of martial artists in Oz are just on the tough-guy daddy issues trip and have nothing to offer the community or the world.
Basic boxing, kyokushin and some ju-jitsu will make you a rounded hand-to-hand fighter 'technically'. Fitness and good basics win over experience.
A fighter is born though. If you're not one of the 2% who can really get into violence and be energized by it, you better learn some real good tricks to disable a killer when he comes at you. Even well trained competitors end their careers early when it becomes clear they aren't 'finishers'.
I had a student who had killer instinct and i could never teach him to do anything but close in and brawl. Here's the thing: he was about 50kg in all his clothes soaking wet. Heart of a tiger in the body of a hamster.
Bottom line: if you trust your instructor and the training enhances your life, you're not wasting your time.
>calling everybody over 25 a boomer
unironically kill yourself
>2018
>not carrying a tree trunk for self defense
No wonder you haven't made it yet.
This is what happens when weaboos grow into boomers
>there are people RIGHT NOW who dont carry logs around
very pathetic
I fucking hate it when I'm transporting lumber on foot and a swordsman attacks me.
Keep lowering the boomer age, its like watching someone tighten a noose around their own neck
i did traditional stuff for 1 year when younger
im happy because it taught me the correct form of kicking very well, but the amount of shit taught (worse than that) is insane
Why is white monster associated with the boomer wojak?
Early UFC beautifully illustrated that boxers never anticipate takedowns.
I'm 30+ , started with Judo last year and I'm still having a blast.
My trainer is a genius, all the people there are great. My back, feet and knees feel better, I lost a few pounds and gained a bit confidence.
Come at me.
Perfect for 2D fighting.
Sipboys are all boomers
holy shit
If I have peestol and I take peestol
Then I have TWO peestol
Include me in screencap, preferably in the upper right corner.
Knife stuff like this is a nice way to teach and learn basic concepts and controls (because the knife adds extra leverage and people are more predictable with them for drilling).
It's really ridiculous and obviously you could never fight like that but it's not completely without merit. It's also lots of fun.
>that boomer who starts doing BJJ and it becomes their entire life even though they're a white belt
what are they doing
No one fights like that with a knife.
If your opponent has no weapon, and you have knife.
Just slash,or stab, without stopping while coming at him.
It's never too late. Why be a self-limiting phaggot? You're going to get old too. Does that mean you're going to just give up on life when you get there?
They're demonstrating a technique in slow motion so it's safe to train and clear to see. It's fucking daft ofcourse but I'm actually really impressed if that log as hollow as it obviously is has any sort of weight he's displaying an immense amount of strength and control.
It's probably from some old chink/nip book and just a historical curio of their system.
I don't want to autism up a fun thread but you're actually wrong but it's a pointless debate.
As i said in the post the weapon and the attack doesn't matter it's what you're doing to their arm and once you've learned it you can use it in all sorts of situations knife or not.
I'm not sticking up for this as real fighting ofcourse it's not but it looks fun as fuck and they're probably in on the joke.
Dubs confirm. You hold someone with one hand and stab the guts with the other.
