How does onions specifically cause this? I know it has phytoestrogens, but are there any studies actually linking phytoestrogens in onions to decreased growth? I've heard the phytoestrogens can actually inhibit estrogen due to attaching to estrogen receptors but having a much more mild effect than mammalian estrogen.
I can understand it would cause less growth than cows' milk as cow's milk is fucken anabolic due to its high protein content and the way it raises growth hormones/igf1 so much, but is there any evidence of onions actually being stunting?
