Protein is a meme, as long as you get above 120 grams a day youre set, and you can easily get to that number without any protein shakes

That's way too low and doesn't take into account any kind of body measurements. For example I'm 6 1 and 200 so I get at least 160 protein a day keep my body operating at full capacity. Sometimes this means about 4 to 5 scoops of protein shake supplement the meals but so be it got to do what it takes to get big

0.8g per pound of bodyweight is all the protein youll ever need. youd probably be better of getting the rest of your calories from healthy fats and quality carbs than from 300g of protein anyways.

I'm hella fat (285lbs) and recently tracking things like this and even getting 120g of protein while also running a caloric deficit to be able to lose 2lbs a week is frustrating. Is protein powder the way to go for this?

Sometimes none and sometimes up to 4. I just use it to hit my protein macros so it depends how much protein I had throughout the day
