He's really just such a fucking asshole. He truly believes he's God's gift despite being exposed for stolen valor, disability fraud etc. it's a travesty that he still has fans
He has barely worked his whole life and was on disability for a questionable illness for a long time. He's only a 'conservative' because he is so desperate to come across as masculine. Also he doesn't know shit about training, notice out of the thousands of videos he has made he has never really spoken in depth about any kind of advance programming. Beyond telling beginners to do a 5x5 and his 'advance' training of doing a daily max so he never has to do any real hard training he is clueless. He is flat out too dumb to create any kind of long term strategy and actually stick to it.
The actual story is he met his wife on a conspiracy theory forum where it was easier to him to maintain his cool tough guy personality. Where he moved in with her and she realised hes a fat autist who never leaves the house she divorced him.
