Lost about 12lbs, gained some noob definition. Feels good to see some signs of escape from the skinnyfat zone.
down from 230lb to 155-160 fluxuating in this range at 5'11, trying to get down to 150

I'm 6'-6'1 and 175. My arms and core still have some covering fat. I've been making some decent gains since I started working out but haven't cut weight. Should I try to eat under maintenance or continue building muscle and eating like usual?
The only escape out of skinny fat is cutting to skelly first
Can't be true because I've already made progress by just building muscle definition, being skinnier would help but cutting to skelly would be pointless.
Are you or are you not still skinny fat?
Latest gym report has me at 11.9% body fat and I gained 800g of muscle in two months. I've tried to change my diet and sleeping patterns, but I am stuck at gaining around 400g of muscle every month since I started. Kinda sucks but at least I'm no longer in the 20 body fat from where I started. It makes me sad tho, that judging from the pictures I take I doubt I'll have abs to show when I reach 10%. I've since added hanging leg raises to my routine and will buy an ab wheel next month, maybe that'll help.

This is obviously the longer route but i'd rather do this than go skelly and have no muscle mass
6’1”, down from 175 to 165. Tummy’s shrinking, so are love handles. Been eating about 1600 calories a day and doing leddit PPL. I... I think I’m gonna make it.
In July 2015 I was 225
Dropped to 185 by October and just kinda plateau'd
Slowly regained until I was 205 just last month
July 2018 and now I'm back on it, currently 195-ish, goal weight 140 and then I'm gonna bulk up.
How did you have love handles at 175? I never had them even at 180 at 6'1

Not the same guy, but i'm 6'1 170 lbs and still have giant love handles, as well as moobs and thick cellulite-ridden thighs/ass.

You probably just have more lean mass, bigger frame, or distribute fat more evenly. Everything above my love handles/hips is Auschwitz tier, other than the moobs.
