Once you become Jow Forums you will not be invisible anymore. You will get stares and attention you don’t want. Random manlets will try to fight you to test your strength. People will think they can just touch and feel up on you without permission. Just wanted to warn you folks since nobody warned me.
Warning
it's okay I'm already a manlet, nobody cares about a Jow Forums manlet
At what body weight and bench does this happen at?
>Got fit
>Still invisible because ugly
Jokes on you OP
200lb 10% body fat with 2 plate bench
or you'll lift for 5+ years with 0 instances of people thiking you lift
>Random manlets will try to fight you to test your strength
this doesn't happen unless you're a manlet yourself
Nigger raise your volume
This is easily solved by just never leaving the house outside of work and gym. Works for me.
Never going to happen to me I rolled Pixie-Wood Elf race and still look like a girl after 3 years
Omg if only i knew. But op has told the truth

It's even worse if you're white and live in multicultural, I literally can't stop being attacked by minorities
>200lb 10%
das big
>i am the random manlet
It's great to just beat them into submission with words alone though, happens with little mouthy teens all the time
I seriously doubt I will ever become muscular. I think I may have low test or something because I've been lifting for ~3.5 months (I am aware that isn't long at all) and have seen nearly no results. Those "negatives" sound fucking awesome t b h
>People will think they can just touch and feel up on you without permission
What if this is my fetish?
Mfw I'm just a slab-of-meat-boytoy
kek
Same. I actually like it. During my day to day I get to be a professional but at the bar I'm just a random hunk of meat.
Or do some cutting because all that fat is covering your muscles.
Do you see results in numbers increasing? Also I don't think that 3.5 months is long enough to determine if its working or not.
Most super muscular dudes have been lifting and doing it for multiple years.
My favorite is winding through the crowd at a club/show and a drunk girl bumps into you and starts feeling dem pecs saying 'oops sorryyyyy!'
Pls be in London
>Random manlets will try to fight you to test your strength
This is only a problem if you lose
>Do you see results in numbers increasing
Not much, but I'm lifting for hypertrophy. I usually do 4x12 with multiple workouts for my isolations.
>Most super muscular dudes have been lifting and doing it for multiple years
Yeah, but I would expect at least a little bit better progress considering I started from doing basically nothing all day. All that's really happened is that I've gotten a bit more veiny.
Not true, man lets love to pick fights with tall dudes. The correct way to respond is to ignore them like the man lets they are.
you wont see any significant progress until around 1 to 2yrs. lifting for strength is better when you first start out so drop the hypertrophy routine. it's ok if you're doing it in addition to strength training but as a primary routine, you're inhibiting your potential.
Hmm I don't know man. I just know that for me lifting and seeing the rising numbers keeps me motivated to keep going back .
I'd say keep lifting and take 's advice.
>lifting for strength is better when you first start out so drop the hypertrophy routine
For what reason? Will I gain more size this way? I do want to get stronger, but I do not want to look like one of those dyel powerlifters with great stats but a shit physique. From what I've read a beginner will gain both size and strength no matter what program they go on, so does a hypertrophy routine even work at all for me?
The only thing worse than looking like a dyel powerlifter is looking like a powerlifter with dyel lifts.
Plus you'll gain size anyways and can refocus later on maximizing size.
when you're starting out, you need to develop a foundation of muscle before you can add on to it. compound lifts are pretty much the most efficient lifts you can do, as they incorporate multiple muscle groups, for building overall strength.this, in addition to a good diet, are the best ways to put on muscle and milk noob gains. once you get a decent foundation of strength, you can focus more on aesthetics with hypertrophy work.
for reference, here's me at start, 1.5 yrs, and 2.5 yrs. i started with stronglifts 5x5 for about a year or so, then moved to PPL once i became intermediate. i care more about overall athleticism/aesthetics than strength too but it takes time natty
Man that’s so fucking true. I’m not even that big compared to many in my gym, but walk around a sea of normies with proper posture, you’ll be snapping necks left and right. I hate it honestly, but being fit is better than not being fit. No going back at this point.
OP is right. Even the “positive” attention sucks. Guys try to pick fights with you. Gays invade your personal space. People actually drop stuff on your table when eating alone or just start sitting next to you. Slags on public transit ask personal questions about sex work
