does anxiety have the same effect as cardio?

Rip gains if so.

PS don't stress this and make it worse.

every sunday my man
>tfw have to see oneitis at work tomorrow (today actually)

what are u anxious about lil buddy

Nothing anymore actually.
But I fell on my chest a few weeks ago and memed myself into thinking I damaged my heart.
Finally got it checked out by two different doctors and there's nothing wrong at all of course.
But I still have the after effects of my mental self-harm.
Also had some alcohol and coffee earlier lol.

Also my heart is pounding, but the bpm and regularity are absolutely normal.

Holy shit you reminded me of that one night I had a similar heart-pounding sleepless night ten years ago, the night before a sleepover school trip.
My one-itis was going to be there too, and reading between the lines I had a shot with her (by which I mean her friends pretty much told me).
On the actual trip I drank too much, and went to bed and vomited right after one of her friends offered to give me a bj and introduce me to my one-itis.

ok so if i look at my hands i can see how they move with my heartbeats. also happens on my abs sometimes
i don't have high blood pressure
is this normal?

Dunno, does it feel heavy in the chest?

When I breathe, my breath is noticeably impacted by the beating of my heart. Kind of like I'm doing Lamaze.

I haven't been able to fall asleep on a Sunday night in over 4 months. I never used to have this issue. I also haven't worked out in months, just lost all desire to work out or go out or socialize. Idk what the deal is man.

Classic health anxiety, which is often heart related. I have also, got it checked a million times and supposedly theres nothing wrong. Brains are fucking weird.

Change your routine or something.
You're basically giving your body the heads up to start acting up every Sunday night, like self-hypnosis.
Even getting into bed can become a trigger if the association is strong enough.

Yeah, I'm going to have to rewire my brain. Started saying "perfectly normal ECG, no enzymes in bloodwork" like a mantra for starters.

yeah this too if im resting my breathing does little jumps to my heart's rythim.
no it doesnt feel heavy. i'm always feeling good actually, cant even remember what a headache or stomach ache feels like
i'm a bit of a hypocondriac tho

Gonna try to hit the hay now, had a little mtb ride outside and I'm feeling better.
Feel free to vent.
(have to announce it like this or I'll keep thinking too much about the thread on account of my anxiety)

I meant does the beating feel pretty heavy.

>i'm a bit of a hypocondriac tho
Same.
Word of advice: whenever you first think you might have something, go check it out just for the peace of mind.

Anyway, good night all.

Welp, I was just fast asleep and my gf woke me up and now I'm back to wide awake with a heavily beating heart.

My heart pounds fast every day, I'm on atenolol for my blood pressure. I avoid cardio and routinely take breaks constantly, its hard to lift. If I don't, after about 5-10 minutes of vigorous exercise, I get sharp chest pinches and lose my breath. I think it'd lead to me blacking out eventually.

Does your anxiety start with a numbness/tingle combination on one side of your body, like the left?

>4am
>palms are sweaty, knees weak, arms are heavy
>vomit on sweater already, mom's spaghetti

atleast you dont have anxiety caused by downing an entire bottle of robitissin to get high and fucking up your brain to be afraid the rest of your life

Take a cold shower and then read a book for 30 minutes.

no it sort of feels like the arteries and veins are very flexible.
when i lift or exert myself i also see lightbulbs' intensity go up and down to my heartbeat. like the pressure makes the eyes work at different voltages

for anxiety i started smoking chamomiles. not that bad

>Nothing anymore actually.
Fuck you user. You don't get to /anxiety/ anymore.

how do you guys cope with work situations? do you just have to grin and bear it?

if there's nothing i can do about it i just shift from anxiety to depression real quick and dont care about what happens

I literally have to work at a place that employs disabled people because sometimes I think I'll be killed if I leave my house.

Fuck you I haven't felt oneitis in almost a decade. I'd rather feel that than nothing at all.

Same but more excitement and unending bliss. When I asked to find happiness this is not what I meant.

>pic related: me a few months ago
>pic related: me trying to stop being so fucking happy and be a moody shit like everyone else.

>Job interview tomorrow

Is this what dying feels like?

Attached: I feel as if I'm going to die.png (646x595, 280K)

same. i'm a bit nervous but otherwise fine. normally i'd be shitting myself with the force of a thousand heads of cattle right now.

what's the job?

Just remember that some kids actually bring parents to interviews now. Think about asking thoughtful questions, remember the name of the interviewer and remember that the person interviewing you has had to interview completely unqualified people trying to sneak in and/or obvious drug addicts depending on what type of job. You are almost NEVER the worst example, or even something bad enough to be remembered.

good luck anons. the last job interview i had gave me an offer! make sure you speak well and be friendly to everyone

I get extreme fucking anxiety if I'm not working out on a daily basis, which is how it's been since I got home for college. Best ways to help are drugs either prescribed or recreational, tea, and doing a difficult workout, those are the only things I've found that help.

Lol I just go in with the attitude of "fuck you" and just generally don't give a shit during the interview. They're in there with me, not the other way around. I have legit made up anecdotes on the spot to employers just to have a better response to their questions. I fucking love interviews, I go in like champ and act like I belong there. Don't sweat it dude, you'll get the job.

I'm confused and intrigued. What, why, when, etc - elaborate.

>I have legit made up anecdotes on the spot to employers just to have a better response to their questions.
Literally everyone should do this anyway. You can just use stories that you've heard friends or family tell, you already remember them.
