See your doctor before fasting if you have any sort of chronic illness (type 1 diabetes, malnourished, underweight, pregnant, breastfeeding)

>4700mg of saltless potassium max (NoSalt/LoSalt are high potassium-low sodium salts available in grocery stores or Amazon and the like)
Mix these in a liter of water and sip it throughout the day. The apple cider vinegar and lemon are optional but recommended for 10+ day fasts.
You can also do this if you feel lightheaded, weak, dizzy, nauseous, etc., on shorter water fasts. Don’t do this while intermittent fasting.

Is it a bad idea to alternate day fast? I am fasting today, tomorrow I plan on eating my usual deficit + macros and lift hard, then fast the next day, and so on. Is it more ideal to just fast days on end especially for a fatty?

I get concussion level headaches on like day 3 I dont know why. (I say concussion level because they last way longer then after I refeed, and they consume my entire right side of my head and eye, much like when I got a concussion 7 years ago). I've done 24 and nearly 48 hour fasts before. I'm 5'11 200lbs and have too much fat fat but lifting for years so it doesn't really look bad and I'm not trying to lose weight super fast at all. What kind of fasting regimine should I adopt to lift at least 3 or 4 times a week, and lose weight in a reasonable amount of time? Also what should my non fasting diet be like?

You're better off dry fasting, then break it with a 500 kcal, no/low carb meal with lots of salt when you no longer can. I.e., 2 kg of cucumbers, 2 teaspoons of salt, and a liter of coconut water.

dry fasting is retarded. I went 31 hours just fresh water Sat-Sun and am planning min 48 hours possibly until friday - 96 hours but don't have muh snek juice stuff yet.

New recipe is kind of flavorless, not very salty at all. Much easier to swallow than the old recipe, which was pretty salty.

I had avocados that were gonna turn to mush and some salmon that I didn't want to go bad.

Don't let sunken food costs (money spent on food already purchased) affect your fasting. I've thrown away hundreds of dollars of good food in order to fast. In the end you save more money fasting than you lose in sunken food costs.

OMAD is one meal a day. fast 24 hours, eat on meal, i.e. eat dinner every evening.
I've been doing keto OMAD for about 5 weeks, going to start longer fasting now that I'm fat adapted and won't have bad cravings during the first 2 days.
Obviously eating real healthy food is better than pizza. I've been doing OMAD keto but making sure I get plenty of fiber from broccoli, avocados, leafy greens, etc.

It is, the youtube link above explains it. Long story short, if you are snake fasting you can increase your weight loss and save some dough along with some other, potential, health benefits by drinking your urine instead of the snake juice. It's basically blood plasma so it isn't harmful and you recycle a good deal of minerals you'd otherwise flush.

Tastes pretty bad at first but you get used to it. Just don't tell your woman about it or she will probably freak the fuck out. Definitely makes you feel hardcore though.

I'm going to start tomorrow morning only water fast, I'll get the rest of teh ingredients later.

Are magnesium supplements okay? The magnesium I add to the snake juice recipe isn't enough to stop the morning toe cramps. The cramping is the only thing stopping me from going more than a couple days at a time.

i just noticed one of my nails is splitting from the nail bed on one side.

I mix a some Dr. Pepper with my snake juice and piss and have no problems fasting. The Dr. Pepper gives me the energy I need. The extra health benefits I get from the doc are also a plus.
