Is having a physical labour job the best way to stay fit?
Is having a physical labour job the best way to stay fit?
No, the best way to stay fit is from proper dieting and regular lifting/cardio
>Fit?
no
>Strong and fat?
yes
It strongly depends on your self control. Working hard makes you extra hungry, way more than a workout.
t. worked with my dad in his shop (as a mechanic) for 6 years
no, its a good way to ruin your body.
No, one of the worst. Light weight for 10 hours a day just destroys your joints and makes it extremely difficult to efficiently do real training and exercise.
Depends on what kind of job. If its a repetitive motion job or a job where you only use certain parts of your body then expect strong-fat. if its a job where you do new shit alot and lift heavy shit in awkwatd positions you tend to have an easier time staying all around fit. However no matter what you do you do need a good diet or you will be fat no matter what.

fuck no lmao
Look at the various people who do physical labour for a living and you'll have your answer. A very low amount of them are actually fit, due to combination of high-calorie diets (necessary to last them through the day) and irregular nature of their labour. That said it differs depending on profession.
fpbp
its terrible
i have a labour job and it is fuckn hard to lift hard at the same stime
Don't forget that every working class labourer has to drink copious amounts of alcohol every night to cope with the shame of being a tradie.
Nah, my buddy's got a labor job with a railroad and he's still managed to turn into a fat sack of shit. He's strong, but eats like garbage because he's always on the road at worksites.
nah its a good way to get fat from eating too much and not doing enough work
this
my job requires occassional heavy lifting even going upstairs so I'm in decent shape but don't drink and am in decent shape, compared to my coworkers who drink literally at least 3-4 times a week and have a disgusting beer gut
Im a labourer on my lunch break reading this shit and its fine. You wont get fat if your not an idiot that thinks the job is enough cardio. Just watch what you eat and still do your workouts and cardio n youll be fine. People on jobsites only get fat cause they dont do any workouts/cardio in their spare time.
Ill tell ya what though my quads are getting serious gains from walkinh up ladder and steps all day.
No I used to flog it in the forests, most of the time it just fucks your back or knees.
Most tradies are fat fucks because they drink dare ice coffees and eat meat pies for lunch every day, then go to the pub and have 10 schooners.
They still usually look better than the average non lifting office-fag though
Construction mostly produces fatasses for some reason. From my experience farmers can get freakishly strong without going fat, it's probably due to fucking around all day every day from 5am and a simple unprocessed diet.
Fucking this.
It helps but is not enough. I started lifting because I was developing the "mechanic's physique"
You tell me
>police
>physical labour
pick one
I've done lots of different jobs in the past from labouring to working office jobs.
Labouring I'd get home and be tired. I'd sit down for half an hour, eat a meal and I'd feel renewed and ready to hit the gym. Gym sessions would be good.
Office job I'd get home feeling tired and mentally drained. I'd sit down for half an hour and eat. Still felt tired, mentally drained and wanting to off myself. Gym session would be bad and everything would feel very heavy.
Should I get Jow Forums before I enter trade school or will it be too hard to maintain?
why cant these lazy people get off my board. if u dont lift go somewhere else.
You are pretty fat bro. Also you could probably get you fired for posting on Jow Forums

That's why I have to lift in the early AM. I'm fucking useless after work.
