help bros i got blackheads and acne and i want to start taking care of my skin but everyone and their mother has a different method. what is the best way to take care of your skin?

dont put anything on your face that isnt cold water
thats it

Wash your face often.
Maybe get those blackhead strips if it's really bad but just washing your skin should be enough.

So drop sunscreen as well then?

Asking 4chin is definitely your best bet, youll find gems like for example. Hilarious.

Buy some 5% or 7% glycolic acid and aloe on amazon. Apply it to your face once per day.
Exfoliate once a week to two weeks.

This will do absolutely nothing.
Most people get blackheads because their skin is too oily, and that doesn't ever go away.

Washing your face too frequently can dry out your skin and the resulting response will be your body further increasing oil production.

that's sebaceous filaments in the picture, not blackheads. Use retinoic acid cream to decrease their appearance.

i don't use any. if you are too white then just admit you werent made for hard sun
maybe if you didnt regularly put trash on your face and body you wouldnt get these problems in the first place. ever seen a wild animal with acne and blackheads?

Accutane bro.

low dose accutane or any more than 10mg/day and you risk losing gains along with the other side effects

10mg per day for how long?

My mother actually gave me this advice and it worked. Stop washing your face with soap, unless you stick your head in piles of shit.
Just rinse of with cold water and your skin will be better

I use cetaphil gentle wash. I have lightly oily skin, my t zone and chin are the worst parts of my skin, and this stuff is amazing. Very gentle but efficient and cheap.

Its genes, pal. People living in the middle of the Amazon rain forest who have never seen a bar of soap still get blackheads.
And yes, animals get them too.

>ever seen a wild animal with acne and blackheads?

lol, are you a vegan as well? Have you ever seen an animal with skin like humans that isn't covered in fur? And if so, do their skins look better than ours?

Plexer m8 get your faces plexered stay in the shadows for a week and you'll have the skin of a baby

this does not work. My brother followed this advice since high school and his skin is absolutely shit. He thinks its bad genes but everyone in the family has better skin health than he does due to using face wash.

Don't do this. Wash your face with a good cleanser then immediatly apply a moisteriser. Apply sunscreen once every 2 hours, especially if you are going outside a lot. Exfoliate once week. Apply a mask once a week. Make sure to moisturize regularly. At night you should wash your face with some cold water and go to bed.

what worked for me: epiduo (you have to use it for at least 5-6 months to see real results)

>Apply sunscreen once every 2 hours

nigga nobody is ever gonna do this shit, you put it once before you head outside and that's it.

depends on your body weight but at such a low dose usually 1-3 years depending on severity of acne . pretty common for steroid users to use 5-10mg/day to keep bacne away

your brother is correct for the most part. of course a proper skincare routine can improve skin health but acne largely comes from inflammation, sebum overproduction, and lipid peroxidation which can have genetic components. my derm told me severe acne is almost entirely genetic

You wanna find products that are pH balanced to your skin's naturally acidic mantle (about 5.5pH).

You also wanna find stuff that's soap free.

I use SebaMed stuff here in the UK and it works better than anything else.
All the other products I've used have pushed my face towards being more acidic which typically ups oil production and increases the appearance of filaments and large pores.
I would wash my face with various recommended cleansers and still, within a couple of hours, have a greasy fucking face, slick with oil.

I switched to soap free, pH balanced stuff and my skin doesn't get oily much at all anymore. My pores are significantly smaller in appearance also.

Tl;dr Find SOAP FREE products balanced to 5.5pH.

nobody gonna post the picture of the dude getting em off with tape or some shit?

>correct for the most part
>face tells different story
Yeah, that cold water sure is more effective. But hey, since he said genes he is almost completely right which is what counts.

google milk sugar acne

you can get rid of blackheads only temporary.

20mg accutane per day for acne.
thank me later

Im a steroid user. Used 20mg accutane per day for 8 months, zero side effects (got bloods checked".
Stopped using accutane 4 months ago, currently roiding, still have zero acne.

Use jojoba oil against sebaceous filaments

horse shit

Check for allergies bro. Did it myself and discovered my skin got irritated when I ate fucking tomatoes and carrots.

just go out in the sun

nice do you have skincare routine since finishing? i've been on 40mg/day multiple times but within a year it always came back

Get a black peel off mask for blackheads. It will pull that shit out of your nose.
>take hot shower
>hold hot facecloth over your nose for 10 minutes to open up pores
>apply black black to nose, lay it on thick
>leave it on for 30 minutes, until completely dry
>slowly peel off
>stare at the white forest of blackheads on the peeled off mask in awe, wonderment, and disgust

Those pore strips work decently well, but don't use them more than once every 6 months.

Other than that, wash your face with hot water, clip your fingernails, then squeeze the shit out of your pores to get the shit out.

this, my face was covered with that shit for like 4 years as a boomer

Well I believe in taking care of myself and a balanced diet and rigorous exercise routine. In the morning if my face is a little puffy I’ll put on an ice pack while doing stomach crunches. I can do 1000 now. After I remove the ice pack I use a deep pore cleanser lotion. In the shower I use a water activated gel cleanser, then a honey almond body scrub, and on the face an exfoliating gel scrub. Then I apply an herb-mint facial mask which I leave on for 10 minutes while I prepare the rest of my routine. I always use an after shave lotion with little or no alcohol, because alcohol dries your face out and makes you look older. Then moisturizer, then an anti-aging eye balm followed by a final moisturizing protective lotion.

Get some anti-bacterial cleanser. Wash your face with warm water and then with cold.

Please don't do this. Your pores will become disgusting craters over time

When I took accutane my dermatologist told me very explicitly to not lift weights as there was a chance that lifting weights on accutane can cause muscle death. She seemed like a bitch though so I don't know if she was just retarded or not.

>lifting weights on accutane can cause muscle death
Que?
I thought it just dried you out big-time

Dumb advice.

My routine advice would be:
Rinse face with lukewarm water, then take a (clean) piece of cloth and soak it with hot water and put it on your face a few times to open the pores. Now dry your face with a clean towel and start applying a facial scrub onto your face, and start scrubbing until the white paste is gone. Then after that, you want to rinse your face with a bit hot/lukewarm water and finally to finish it off, rinse your face with cold water.

Warm water opens pores, cold water closes them. This is why it’s not adviced to take a cold shower right after the gym.

My dermatologist is a someone famous one, and he told me all that might happen is that my tendons might get sore.

My 2nd round of accutane I lifted, but I was also on keto, so I wasn't lifting much.

It's true that muscle breakdown is a potential side effect but it's uncommon. I'm a skinlet on it for my 4th time now but i've only ever gotten the chapped lips side thank christ
