its garbage for performance
ok for weightloss i guess

i did it and wasnt very satisfied, ill do it again when top tier athlethes do it

Anything guys like Rakich push should be taken with a grain of salt because he's on the gas

No carbs will give you no energy for explosiveness.
If you are fat just avoid eating.
For many people keto mans no veggies too, this is why they are bloated all the time and cannot stop farting.

pros
>easiest way to get shredded fast
>enhances cognitive performance and mood
>better aerobic performance
>better skin

cons
>meals get boring in the long run (yet simple)
>expensive
>slow as fuck gainz while on it
>you will look noticeably deflated due to lack of water on your muscles

All your pros are bullshit

Are you willing or even able to do keto for the rest of your life? If you answered no, then the pros and cons don't matter, there's no point in doing it.
Roiding is the only shortcut that can replace hard work and discipline.

^insert keto for atkins, because the carb count is low enough for ketosis
Pros:
-probably effective if carbs are your kryptonite and you can't eat them in moderation
Cons:
-changes in blood pH can contribute to tons of health issues
-poor endurance due to low glycogen levels
-most of the high initial weight loss vs other diets is from glycogen and water. As the study above shows (along with other studies and meta-analyses that I'm too lazy to find) that basically every diet provides the same results in the long term.
-highly restrictive. Have fun going out with your friends (if you have any) and not being able to eat pretty much anything at a restaurant.
-keto breath
-the initial shift into ketosis takes 1-2 weeks, and you will feel like shit during this time.
It's a meme diet.

What's the difference between low carb and keto?
40/40/20 vs 20/70/10?

>keto breath
explain

>pls spoonfeed me
>i accept spoonfeeds from randos as truth because im too lazy to read

Keto is going into the state of ketosis, not a ratio of carbs to fat/protein. The carb restriction necessary for ketosis varies from person to person, but is usually between 20 and 50g/day. If you eat 10% carbs, but that 10% is greater than your threshold, you will not go into ketosis. Low carb would mean restricting your carbs, but not to the point of entering ketosis.

it just werks

Tl;dr: breathing out acetone

all of your shits look like diarrhea because you're killing yourself by excluding a macro

>Low carb would mean restricting your carbs, but not to the point of entering ketosis.

Wrong.

You can eat 0 carb (zero), but still never enter ketosis if you eat too much protein.

Ketogenic diet is 80% of the calories from fat. 10-15% from protein and rest 10-5% from trace carbs.

If you eat too much (lean) protein: you will not be in the ketogenic state.

I personally do not eat ketogenic style, but I do eat zero carb and carb-up during weekends.

Fair enough, forgot to mention protein. The point still stands that eating a certain ratio doesn't guarantee ketosis if the total caloric intake is too high, though.
