I've rewatched it a lot but I recently realized what that guy's saying.
When you sit around and talk to your buddies (male), most of the time it's gonna be about things, no matter the hobby: vidya, sports, music, comedy, what you've done/achieved recently.
Women talk about situations they've been in and interpersonal developments. If you've listened to women tell a "funny story" it's always about them someone they know being in an unusual or unexpected situation.
That's what friends is. The show is never REALLY about what they've accomplished or their hobbies or whatever, it's always about the funny situations they've been thrown into, the developments between them in terms of friendships/relationships/etc.
It's a women's show because it's what women are typically interested in. Still think it's nice though.
