Does Jow Forums eat popcorn?

I never considered it an option, especially since I'm cutting. But recently I saw that it's not all that heavy on the calories and has decent fibre. Thoughts?

Just get no butter

Popcorn is healthy and perfectly fine as long as you dont put butter or other obviously bad shit on it

Thank you both

Is lean bulking essentially just bulking on a caloric surplus that's less than 500kcals?

How much would one aim for when lean bulking? 2lbs a month?

>took a hard fall
>landed on arm
>weeks later
>shoulder still isn't 100%

what do? want to lift but so weak on one side

eat nuts

The shoulder takes long to heal and you really don't want to fuck it up. Be patient.

I have adjustable dumbells, a pull up bar and a bench at home. Due to time constraints, I can only exercise 3 times a week, for ~45 minutes each.

1. What program would you recommend if I want to see hypertrophy? (assuming my food's in check and I overload)

2. Assuming the answer is PPL, and I only have ~50m each time, what DB exercises would you recommend to maximize muscle activation? I'm willing to do far less legs because, as the song goes, My Legs Are OK: youtube.com/watch?v=ECEz3a4GErE

ty

How much muscle mass do you expect to gain? About 1-1.25 times that converted to calories.

>electric trimmer catches on skin and causes cut while getting rid of armpit hair
>over a couple weeks zit appears
>take needle and drain it - try to fish out hair i think is growing in, find nothing
>occasionally it gets extremely tender and hurts like a bitch until i drain lots of pus
>that usually happens when i do lots of chins or rows with elbows tucked
>most of the time it is just a hard lump with no pus or pain though
>shit is going on for 2 years
pic related is after i got annoyed again and started fishing with a needle (weird skin colour is dried betadine)
what the hell is it? how do i get rid of it?

Attached: 20180728_122344.jpg (2560x1920, 1.22M)

you've had that for 2 years and haven't seen a doctor yet ?

You've been draining for 2 years too ?

Are you american btw ?

yeah, stupid. but, usually it's just a pea-sized lump under the skin with no external signs it's there. it only looks like this for a couple days maybe once every 4months after it swells and develops a white-head and i start digging into it as far as i dare because i'm a retard.

not burger, just loathe going to the doctor for what i thought is a glorified razor bump.

didn't you ask this in an earlier thread? it was already answered
not ppl if only 3 time a week
do full body

My new shoes rubber the skin off my heel. I ran again today and the scab got rubbed off and it's really bloody all through my sock. I don't wanna fuck my new shoes, what should I do?

So I did SS for the first time today, and I had to use hook grip on my first ever set of deadlifts. Is this fine and normal?

Attached: images (28).jpg (100x100, 3K)

get a sock with a higher collar and cuff it where you need more protection?

When I tilt my head to the left I get a horrible stretching pain under my right collarbone near my shoulder, any ideas what it is?

it's fine to use hook grip from the start but what do you mean you had to? what was the weight? your grip strength was too weak?

Depends how heavy they were. You should work on grip strength anyway. I don't start using mixed grip until I get to 2.5 plate. I never do hook grip

Yeh, my grip wasn't strong enough. It was 205 pounds. Should I lower the weight for my grip?

What are telltale signs that you're gonna make it?

I couldn't get to the gym today because reasons, also my gym shuts at noon on a Saturday. It's bullshit, I know.

I'm gonna do a core day at home instead, what routine should I do? Does anyone have an infographic? I know Jow Forums hates planks but are they worth anything?

Attached: the core.jpg (1280x720, 149K)

Do neck curls actually work? Like if I do 12x3 every day, can I expect results?

I can tell you my experience.

I started at 186cm, 76kg and 11.5%Bf. i was a cardio nutt before.

I did SS for 6.5 months.

Now my lifts are 180/148/100/66.

I'm still 186cm (Dheeee he he he...), I weight 84Kg, and my Bf is 12%. (Average between caliper and meter).

I started eating the first 2months at 300kcal surplus on TRAINING days only, then 1 months on 500kcal surplus EVERY day, then continued eating 750kcal surplus EVERY given day.

At the beginning you don't need much, your strength will come mostly by technique and recruitment improving.

Now i'm on periodization and am experimenting with alternating day fasting. Which means i ate 6k kcal 4 times a week, and fast 3 days.

Scooby has a rotisserie core workout and a killer-abs-workout up on YT. I mix up both from time to time.

Hanging knee raises from the tree branch outside house. You know the one

Am I missing out on gains by not having a strict routine? I’ve been working out long enough to know what I’m doing, and I know what I need to work on

It's a cyst, go see a doctor you mongoloid

It's nothing too bad, but you need to get it removed or you risk an infection or possibly blood poisoning if you keep draining it.

It's always good to have some kind of structure or protocol to follow. That way you know you'll never stray. Whereas going without a routine, I imagine you'd be more prone to experimenting/tempted to try out new things which could slow down progress

Probably not.

You already posted that, retard

Not trying to hikack this thread but can someone please spare a minute to help me with something?

I’ve recently started going out with this tall Amazonian goddess (blond hair) and she’s into sports/fitness health the whole kitchen kaboodle.
Now my concern lies with her brother, we were watching tv yesterday when he turned and asked me what was w the guy in my?
I just couldn’t answer him because I’m not sure how I want this relationship but I’m hoping it could lead somewhere otherwise I I’m I’ll see if you want it to me and then go get some something it will help take you.

Anyone ever been in the same boat? I’m just too scared for them I to and I just don’t can’t get.
I really like her but I’m under stress from work and possibly moving countries so it might be cruel for a long distance, especially if there’s kids involved.

Anyone know what this is? Hurts to walk with and I have work in a few hours. On my inner thigh, pretty sure it only appeared a few days ago.

fuck, didn't know minor cysts could cause sepsis. gonna get it taken out on monday, thanks man.

Either insect bite, pimple or ingrown hair. Disinfect, put on warm compress, maybe buy some salicylic powder/cream. Try to squeeze it gently and see if anything comes out, if not: don't go picking on it constantly or it'll end up like .

im 60kg, can i train chinups/pullups everyday or i need to skip some? i can do 5x5 of each kinda easy, dont wanna overtrain but neither undertrain

For a cut its the same if i spread 1500 kcals in 3 or in 6 meals a day? Its the same? I mean for those insulin theories etc, so i do 3 meals or 6 ?

What to chose for a date with an 18 year old tinder thot? Coffee?

Why is it important to cut first, and then bulk later?

Frozen yoghurt and trip to the pool.
Conner Murphy recon, ends this and it is a boss move.
The yoghurt is a nice, fun snack and the pool is a great way to show each other some skin without it getting weird.
Casually talk about something you have at home (eg doggo) and of she’s interested invite her over to check it out.

Lookmaxxing question here:
Is it bad to use those creams that have retinol and say they are for people 55+? I'm 25 will these JUST me?

is it bad/dangerous to OHP with knees slightly bent the whole time? I have about an inch to clear on the ceiling in my home gym so that i can go through a full range of motion

Does anyone have gorilla pasta from yesterday (im sure i can beat my meat ... smth like that )

It's only important if you're a fat faggot. Adipose tissue contains aromatase, which turns your test into estradiol. Women that are overweight are considered to have an extra risk factor for uterine cancer, because being fat is so estrogenic. Being morbidly obese is like being on HRT.

3x per week? Not PPL. The point of PPL is to lift 6 days per week and hit everything twice per week. 3 days per week means you should do full body.

It's a furuncle. Go to your doctor. They'll drain it, leave it open to heal by secondary intention, and possible culture the pus in it and prescribe antibiotic like clindamycin to cover for MRSA. Stop fucking with it like a mouth breathing retard.

If you've never lifted before, you probably shouldn't be starting with 205.

Either an ingrown hair or cyst. I had a cyst on my spine that looked like an unpopped zit.

If you are trying to fix your posture, they are worth it, just not daily. I'd recommend them 2-3 times per week.

If your goal is to get a bigger neck, focus on building your traps (wich will also improve your overall look imo). I myself do shrugs or lateral raises.

How much time do you guys spend in gym?

Try to do a plank for 3 minutes then tell us how you feel

>1/2/3/4 in just six and a half months
Very impressive if true. What were your starting lifts?

do some athleanx dot com abs sore in tot minutes, that will do

I am eating at a 15% deficit with high protein and going to the gym 5x per week with cardio and NOT LOSING FAT. What the FUCK bros.
And you know if I'm autistic enough to keep these spreadsheets I am counting my calories correctly. I'm eating fucking 1800 cals per day. Kill me

You have an unlucky increasing streak, but you shouldn't take weight too seriously on a day-to-day basis. Weekly, and overall, you're losing fat aren't you?

Don't know, I've only been doing this specific amount of calories for 11 days. Before that I was on 800 cals per day and obviously lost weight but it was unsustainable.

how do i deal with and get rid of doms
also how do i prevent it next time

Attached: 857.jpg (1200x717, 73K)

Oh I was looking at the wrong column. Your bodyfat percentage also appears to be decreasing, but why the fuck would you want to be at 8% bodyfat, and why would you want to go even lower?

Popcorn is perfectly fine as long as it's just mildly salted.

Anyone

deload after training and do some light stretching
will only lower them a bit tho, your body needs to get used to the load you put on them

The percentage isn't really accurate, it's just about the relative percentages as long as I keep using the same caliper and method.

Bulk or cut? Also am I fat looking?

Forgot pic

When's the last time you laid down on a bench and elevated the bar upwards from your chest?

I bench every 2 days and I box but my pecs are still small:(

I really don't believe you.

I do 1pl8 but other than that, I do push ups and bench 2-3 times a week. What other good ways to develop pecs would you recommend?

Benching more than one plate. I've been back into lifting for two weeks and I'm up to two plate. I don't believe that you've been lifting for an extended period of time.

Going from no-pack to 6-pack was very straightforward. How hard is it to go from a 6-pack to a sick shredded 8-pack?

Texas Method or 5/3/1 or is their any other strength routine that is superior

Is this a decent pic for tinder?

For grindr

oh no

Clean that disgusting-ass mirror and try again.

I've been recomping and lost a little weight. Bodyfat estimation??

I know I don't look good but I've been trying really hard the past 3 weeks.

Attached: image2.png (2001x1944, 3.87M)

I make massive bowls of homemade popcorn, cover it all in perfectly distributed real butter, and shit myself silly the next morning after my coffee. All those indigestible pieces scraping the old poopoo out of my guts...you haven't lived until you've tried it

I lifts about 1 times a week for like 3 month and my squat and bench have topped out at 135 (both). Is the answer to lift more often?

4 day TM if you want strength.
When I ran 5/3/1, I lost strength because of the low volume of reps at high weight. It works for some if you add in FSL, Joker Sets and all that other crap.

resized picture didn't realize it was so big lol

Attached: image2.1.png (801x778, 869K)

What's the best option for 18y/o 6'4" lanklet ?

I do all the big lifts (squat, dl, bench, row, ohp). What muscles aren't getting trained as much if I only do those?

Slowly bulk, try to avoid obviously harmful foods 80% of the time.

If you're skeleton skinny 500 calorie surplus, regular skinny 300 calorie surplus.

Yes

Eat big, lift big

Stop being a faggot and lift more

Both suck. 5/3/1 needs more volume and TM is too much intensity for no reason. Work each muscles 2-3 times a week, do enough hard sets at 70-85% 1rm, add some accessory work that looks like the lifts you want to improve.

You should not be locking out your knees in the first place.

You are not going to overtrain ever. Do as much volume as you can recover from. Probably you can't recover in time if you workout every day but try it.

What's a good 4 day TM template? Do you have a link or anything?

How do I know I need to up my weight and not simply shoot for a greater rep count? I'm currently pushing myself to exceed my max rep counts on dumbell exercises, and while it's hard to push through during the exercise, I'm noticing a severe lack of any feeling of DOMS the day after or two days after my workouts. Should I get through the month like this and keep uping reps or say fuck it and buy heavier dumbells? Trying to build muscle not just lean out.

>work out
>get sick
>ride bike
>get sick
>run
>get sick
>blood, urine, shit, lungs, heart and guts tested plus ultrasound and shit
>everything normal
where can i order a new body for me?

I don't have a bench, or enough floor space to do floor presses. Is there any downside to bench pressing on a bed, besides the lack of ROM? Or should I just stick to dumbbell floor presses?

>You are not going to overtrain ever. Do as much volume as you can recover from. Probably you can't recover in time if you workout every day but try it.
yeah in the end i worked out again, maybe tomorrow i will take day off
was a bit more fatigued since yesterday i also added assisted until i couldnt move anymore, but i managed my 5x5 quite easy
it was actually the arms giving up, i felt them a bit tensed up

same here, but im weak to cold weather in general
known that, if i avoid it i can train safely most of time

DOMS don't really mean shit. If your lifts are going up you're getting stronger/bigger. That said, you'll have a hell of a time getting bigger if you're not also getting stronger.

Buy bigger dumbbells.

for the next month or two I'll only have time to do two 5x5 lifts before my gym closes.
so far I've been doing squats and alternating between OHP and BP.

am I neglecting something by just doing these?
I feel like my upper body isn't getting stronger as quickly as my lower body

Can I do cardio on rest days? I'm doing SL 5x5.

Something like this.
TM is very flexible so you can add accessories if you want.
I've run something like this before just to cut down the time of workouts because volume day on 3 day TM takes forever.

Attached: 4 day TM.png (792x219, 13K)

fuck no twitter.com/ketonibba

No back work.
Maybe try A: Squat/Bench 5x5, B:OHP 5x5, Deadlift 1x5, Chin-Ups/Pull-Ups whatever you have time for

how 2 fix forward head
