Ideal Incline for Bench Press

Rate my set-up Jow Forums.
It's 15°, I measured it.

Also what is the ideal Incline angle for chest hypertrophy?

No one?

pretty decent but if you shift the bench 2 much then might just collapse and potentially injure yourself.

shit looks expensive

I usually go 45 at my gym

It's more steady than it looks. Helps that I'm only lifting 40s I guess.

Yah. Kinda regret buying it. Now I'm stuck with a lousy home gym.

I do this but use slabs of wood. And would recommend it over your setup.

Alright. Looks like I'll have to find slabs of wood to get it up to 45.. not sure how safe that's going to be tho.

15-30 is ideal

Sell flat bench, use as majority of cost towards adjustable bench, don't fucking die with flat bench balance on random shit from your garage?

come and be with my baby I can show you a real good time

If I can find someone who's willing to buy it.
I appreciate the sentiment, but I'm a guy.

that's a snap city form faggot, keep your wrists at neutral grip. That's the point of using dumbbells instead of barbbells

What

Kind of unrelated, but are you literally gay or what?
Also your form is real meh, godda work on that

you're externally rotating your shoulders and it will cause them to snap. You can tell you are doing it wrong because you are literally stopping short because your shoulders would snap if you would go lower. Use neutral or semi-neutral grip, keep your elbows tucked and go all the way down. If you keep doing this shit like you are doing now, one day you will pick heavier weights, weight will force your arms to go deeper than they were used to and you will snap off your shoulders or pecs.

Thanks for the tip! Going to do that the next time I hit chest.. which is today.
Thanks. I'll work on it. Not gay btw, crop tops are just fun to wear. Might not look as cringey as I did there if I had abs, but that day will come.
That user wasn't me, but thanks for clarifying that! Really appreciate it.

I’m not him.
Rotating your wrist does not necessarily externally rotate your shoulder, that’s an independent movement that you can or cannot combine.
Secondly, there is nothing wrong with externally rotating your shoulder towards the bottom of a press, granted that you are setup correctly. This is what actually allows you to use proper force and it stretches your pec. The shoulder won’t be “””impinged””” if your form isn’t whack.

That said, his form is absolute whack but that goes far beyond wrist positioning, which is not his actual issue.

Shit activation for the upper pecs

Literally do not do this, watch a YouTube guide from someone that actually knows what they're talking about and is big

Unless this faggot can post body he's a moron

Ok, now I'm confused. But that's good, I'm learning. So what am I really doing wrong then? I've watched several YouTube videos but having someone point out what I'm doing wrong I think is more helpful, because apparently I'm still doing it wrong.

now show me your upper chest
