Hello I am a dirt poor college student and I want to get back into playing YuGiOh. Does anyone here know where I can buy some fake YuGiOh cards that can pass as real? I have no way to afford the real booster boxes/individual cards to build all the decks I want to build.
Anything would help please.

So? Everyone will still know what cards they're supposed to be. Why doesn't everyone just print their own cards instead of paying for this shit? It's not like the "real" cards do anything different from homemade cards. It'd be like printing a traditional deck of playing cards and saying they wouldn't work for your game of poker even though all you need is the information printed on them.

Dude the game doesn't resemble anything what it used to ever since they started pendulum xyz fuckyfuck bullshit.
There's a phone app that lets you build your own deck with any cards for free and works alright playing against other people's real decks. It's not super easy to use but your hand turns around when you tilt it away from you so your opponent cant see your hand but they can see your field.
I'd say just do the online dueling like the website or automated dueling in yugupro percy which are free and let you use any cards, even super rare ones like blood mefist.

I can't even keep up with all the new bullshit and what its all called all I know is back in community college I was playing my blue eyes ultimate deck and lost in 2 turns when pajeet drew a bunch of bullshit that literally let him search his deck for more bullshit that basically had "you win" as its effect

Is that MTG? I heard it was a lot more expensive. I really want to get into another card game that's like yugioh but with less confusing bullshit and a stronger focus on style and deck building options and luck. But I dont know of anything that fits that bill that anyone plays
Buy a monarch deck and a few complimentary packs and you'll have a meta deck for cheap. Probably costs like 30 bucks total for a decent meta deck.
it's more expensive in person for sure, you might try playing it online, mtg arena isn't bad and is f2p
you could always just play proxy decks with friends lol (some game stores might do proxy tournaments for some games)

If you can rustle up $30 you can get 3 lair of darkness structure decks. I don't think you can build anything competitive for cheaper

I really like my AtoZ but a pure ABC deck is probably a lot better just less fun.

I'm not talking about the Kaiba structure deck, I mean a properly built ABC deck. It's the cheapest "meta" deck there is. It's actually a very viable knightmare deck too when you get the money to upgrade.

ah I didnt know there was a kaiba structure for it. I had built my own for it that involves a lot of spell cards that I can use to discard for the monster effects or use the spell cards themselves to summon more union monsters from my hands that let me summon XYZ in one turn so I can then get AtoZ on the field without the XYZ dragon materials getting destroyed first.

Yeah, I agree with this if you're just playing with friends, but if your plan on playing in a local tourney or at a higher level then buying actual cards is a must.

There's some poor people who do this at my locals. Everyone understands their financial problems and let them still play at locals. Because even if they print out cards they still have to have the skills to win in the game.
