I just want to live in a relevant part of the country.

>wanting to be trendy and relevant

are you a 14 year old girl?

lol let me guess you're also a Trump supporter.
The only way out of being a robot is to socialize. The only places that are good for millennials to socialize are in cultural centers like Seattle and NYC.
Fuck off with your shit.

What makes Seattle relevant? I can see the building I'm sitting in now in your pictures.

I've never lived in the heart of a major city, but I'd be willing to bet that it probably isn't what it's cracked up to be once you get there.

How do you define relevant? I'm curious.

>lol let me guess you're also a Trump supporter.

nope, not into politics

>bringing up trump for literally no reason
obsessed

Cities have culture, education, local shops, are walkable, and it allows you to meet lots of likeminded people.

imagine being stupid enough to actually believe that you need to move to a "cultural center" and pay thousands of dollars a month in rent to some shithead landlord for a tiny ass apartment because those cities are apparently the ONLY places good to socialize.

>and it allows you to meet lots of likeminded people.

whats it matter if your social skills are abysmal and you cant make eye contact?

>culture
They don't have a monopoly on culture.
>education
Again, see above, though I will concede they might give you a few more options.
>local shops
Unless you live in the middle of nowhere, this applies to all inhabited locations.
>are walkable
Less so than small towns, I'd say.

You can keep your vomit, insufferable public transport, and gangs of degenerates prowling the streets after sunset.

There are tons of these types of cities, I'd say. why haven't you moved?

Also "likeminded" can be literally anywhere depending on your mindset, so I wouldn't include that as a description for "relevant".

That's because you don't have enough exposure and likely live around hicks. Try living in a city and you'll cure your robothood.

Good luck finding anyone who knows who Gustav Mahler is, let alone Johann Strauss Sr/Jr, or even someone as well known as Johann Sebastian Bach.
If you want to actually experience culture you need to interact with it directly. You're not going to find music concerts worth anything outside cultural hubs like Seattle, Portland, Austin, San Fransisco, NYC, etc.

i've been to plenty of great concerts from famous bands/artists that weren't in major cities. i've also seen great concerts in major cities, but to say that those are the ONLY places you can find them is just plain incorrect.

you're an idiot

I don't. I wish my irrelevant state were less relevant.

Moved to Philly years ago after living in bumfuck nowhere. Can confirm, even without friends there's still tons of stuff to do/places to go if you live in a city.

God forbid you're not interested in classical music.

If you are, cities are the only way to listen to it.

It's beautiful

What are the best big cities in the US? Put them in a tier list from God tier to shit tier.

also philly here, can double confirm this

what part of town, just out of curiosity? i live in mantua but i'm moving to an apartment in spruce hill next month

that's only in the nigger ghettos, most of the city is actually really nice

>god tier
Rural America

European here - I just want to spew my uninformed opinion on the matter, because I can.

Texas is the best state. Sure, you might get some racism, but I always pictured it as a land of charm and magic.

I know it's not a city. I just wanted to show my support for Texans, given that they are often underappreciated.

This would be more true if the state weren't loaded with spics.

Ironically I live in this city you pictured and not a single fucking word you said was true. There is absolutely no culture, everyone is either an immigrant or a transplant and any kind of prior culture has evaporated since before Guliani. The people are the lowest common denominator thoughtless uneducated assholes and at best cookie cutter hipsters that leap to the newest trend without any original thought. There are no local shops just high end chains geared towards millennials who like to waste money on frivolous garbage they cant afford. NYC is also by no means walk-able, your either taking the subway filled with human garbage described above or you're dying in traffic to get where you need to be and if you do decide to walk because you have some kind of death wish dont bring any change because you're bound to be accosted by a "homeless" bum.

You're probably some underage b& who grew up in a small town and is sick of mommy and daddy telling him what to do and you think the grass will be greener on the other side like in all the Hollywood productions you watch. I'd get the fuck out here in heart beat but I need to take care of my family and the pay in the city is second to none too bad the quality of life is not.

I just want to live in a relevant country

>tfw Romanian

Definitely true. If you want just music, New Orleans, Nashville, Memphis, Chicago, even my little city of VA beach had a hip hop scene because of Pharrel. You're just being too picky

romania sounds based

Mexicans, I assume? Yeah, you need them there to maintain the atmosphere.

I live in Fishtown. Weirdly enough I almost moved to Mantua a few years ago. Got ridiculously cheap rent for where I am though so I went for it.

Fuck that OP. I want to live as far away from normies as possible in a state like Alaska, Montana, or Wyoming. I can do nearly whatever I want there if I can get enough money.

There are a lot of medium-sized cities that are still pretty cool, like Portland, Maine and (from what I've heard--never actually been to this one) Ithaca, New York.

>Ithaca, New York
I actually live there.

>ywn experience this because you're an uncultured hick
I want to kill myself
